Bears fans, "We need to draft in the trenches."

- Ryan Poles drafts Ozzy Trapilo, Shemar Turner, and Luke Newman _

Bears fans, "But not like that."
So accurate. I like this one too…

Bears fans complain about offense for years. Bears fans want to bring in Vrabel.

Bears FO brings in Johnson then go on to draft TE and WR.

Bears fans “Why didn’t we draft defense?”

Another one that kills me is because they drafted Loveland and Burden, they have to be cutting Kmet and trading DJ Moore.

I prefer, they’re trying to build a really dangerous offense with some serious depth!

We can’t have that!

How about, “they drafted TE 2 at ten.”

Well, no they didn’t.

Hey, we got too much talent, trade DJ Moore
GM's think differently then fans do. Fans want all the talent but GM's have to find ways to save cap space.

Get ready for positive draft picks this year and in the future to be products of what the coaching staff wants, and all picks that fail are going to be Poles' failures.

Yes the GM that traded a 4th round pick for a 1 year rental on a geriatric Keenan Allen with plantar fasciitis is going to trade away the best WR on the roster now because they drafted 1 in the 2nd round.

Brilliant logic, really tracks

Did the Bengals just find a way to sign both Chase and Higgins?

I"m fairly positive it's like that for 31 other NFL franchises. Much like how the offensive coordinator is the worst coach in team history, and the backup QB is the best player on the field. Those are some universal NFL truths.

So because he traded a 4th for K.Allen means he won't trade DJ Moore for some odd reason after adding two new weapons to the offense?

Brilliant logic there.

haha

True but I hate this type of thinking. It falls on everyone. Especially when maybe the HC had more influence then ever.

That entire thread was so f*cking stupid.

If Poles were worried about cap space, he wouldn’t have traded for and signed Moore to an extension like he did.

Oh, no doubt. I'm just saying a lot of fans live in the world of confirmation bias.
They do. I’ll be the first to admit Johnson playing a key role in who Poles drafted this year. But if they fail, it falls on everyone. As much as I hate Poles, he won’t deserve full blame for this draft.

Which was done before he drafted Odunze and before he added two new weapons in this draft and before he brought in Ben Johnson who wanted another top TE to go with his other top TE. A lot has changed on this offense since re-signing DJ.

Yes, do they have a 3rd top WR and two top TE's?

They just re-signed Gesicki too.

They are developing Burton and Iosivas. Iosivas is pretty damn good. Charlie Jones can’t even get on the field.
