I think Banks a LT you could take at 10 and feel good about. He may not be a freak athlete like Campbell or Membou but he is still damn good.My guy, Kelvin Banks Jr. analyzing Kelvin Banks Jr.
I think people give too much credit to coaches for drafting players. It’s not a coach’s responsibility to do that. I can imagine there may be a preference on a player, where Ben's input is critical in shifting players slots on a board, but it’s not like Ben would override Poles and force him to pick a player Poles would otherwise think is a bust. That would be stupid of a coach and overconfident. The reverse is true too, where Poles shouldn't pick a guy the coach doesn't want at all and believes isn't a fit. So that said, Poles owns the roster, for better or worse. Poles picks the players he believes his coaches can utilize and maximize.Who will people blame Poles or Ben Johnson if they bust?
Like him, but they won't take him. What do you guys think of Mike Green at 10?
On a scale of 1-10, with 1 being the angriest and 10 being the most pleased, how would you feel about each of these selections if the Bears took them at 10:I am going to be angry with who they pick at 10.....I just know it...

What makes Campbell and Membou top 10 talents, but not Banks? I’m not trying to argue. Just curious.11 - Graham
10 - Campbell, Menbou, Jenty
9 - Warren, Walker
5 - Johnson
0 - everyone else
At #10, you take top-10 talent. This isn't complicated...
1. Will Campbell 10On a scale of 1-10, with 1 being the angriest and 10 being the most pleased, how would you feel about each of these selections if the Bears took them at 10:
1. Will Campbell
2. Armand Membou
3. Kelvin Banks
4. Ashton Jeanty
5. Omarion Hampton
6. Tyler Warren
7. Colston Loveland
8. Mason Graham
9. Derrick Harmon
10. Walter Nolan
11. Will Johnson
12. Jahdae Barron
13. Jalon Walker
14. Mykel Williams
15. James Pierce
16. Mike Green
17. Shemar Stewart
I think most support that but most also say he needs to check out on the character issues of his past and all agree that it comes down to if Dennis Allen approves of the pick and he can use him as a DE in his 4-3 defense. What do you guys think of Mike Green at 10?
I'm a 10 on being confused on why Kenneth Grant didn't make this very long list.On a scale of 1-10, with 1 being the angriest and 10 being the most pleased, how would you feel about each of these selections if the Bears took them at 10:

I would rather trade back and snag Hampton with an extra second or third than use the 10th pick on Jeanty if he's there and would definitely rather have Hampton than Warren in any scenario.Kiper, who hates RB's in the first round calls Hampton special as does Mcshay and Muench from Scouts Inc.
North Carolina’s Omarion Hampton could be the first running back to hear his name called during the 2025 NFL draft instead of Boise State’s Ashton Jeanty.
“I wouldn’t be shocked if some teams ended up having Hampton as their top running back,” NFL Network’s Daniel Jeremiah said, via Sports Illustrated’s Albert Breer. “He’s bigger and he’s going to run fast. He’s super explosive. He’s loose for a big guy. When I update my top 50, there’ll be less distance between those two. Hampton’s going to move up for me. He’s just a different body. He can catch the ball, he’s very productive, can make you miss. It’s just hard to find guys that are 223 like that.”
Hampton rankings..
Kiper 10
Mcshay 12
Scouts Inc. 13
Jeremiah 14

Ah, I knew I’d forget somebody. My mistake.I'm a 10 on being confused on why Kenneth Grant didn't make this very long list.
I'm just going by consensus of the handful of draft analysis media people who I believe to have pretty solid track records of identifying top-10 talent year after year. Should they be taken as the word of god? No, of course not. But it seems better than using anything else, including my own opinion, or anyone else here for that matter. Their consensus seems to be that Campbell and Membou are both just better athletes than Banks (or Conerly, for that matter)...What makes Campbell and Membou top 10 talents, but not Banks? I’m not trying to argue. Just curious.
Agreed and we have an idea the BJ looks at it the same way so we'll get a sense of how they feel about that situation next week.Yeah, I shouldn’t have quoted you my comment was more general. Apologies.
In regards to your question about offensive line being a pressing need, I believe so. I believe great teams are constructed like this:
Owner-GM-QB-Head Coach-Offensive Line.
Once that’s situated, the rest is easy.
But can he catch 2 footballs while doing a backflip?
