Maybe he likes to get dressed up in some snazzy garb and hook up with some big ol farm fed gals.
or maybe he likes a mean fish boil, what else can it be.
Think you’re missing the point here. The NFL only extends invitations to players they expect to be drafted in the 1st round, or very early 2nd at the latest. Milroe is apparently going to go a lot higher than the draft media industry has been projecting. Just watch. He’s suddenly going to become a “late riser” out in mock draft land. And if he does really go that early, that just lets one more OL/DL guy to slip down to 39 & 41…

Someone must've given that same message to Malik Willis as well.

With how the board can seemingly fall, feels like there’s decent odds to take a shot at TE or corner. There's probably not a clear cut RB, DL, or OL available at 10.

Looking back at a big board from a year ago, and seeing how much this shifted in a year, is why making these choices is so difficult to do.

You can’t let this go can you pumpkin?
No, I can’t man :ROFLMAO:. I’m waiting for all the posters that advocated for the meaningless win against the Packers that led to us falling to the #10 overall pick, to whine on draft day when the player they want is chosen with the #7, #8, or #9 overall pick, or the Bears trade valuable assets to move up 😂

I wanted them to win and I won’t whine about what happens on draft night no matter what. Beating a bitter rival always matters. Only losers think it’s ok to lose. The players after the game showed it mattered to them.

NFL Draft rumors: New York Giants could face Abdul Carter, Shedeur Sanders choice at No. 3

Increasingly, Cam Ward and Travis Hunter are expected to be selected 1-2

"It is beginning to look like the New York Giants’ choice at No. 3 in the 2025 NFL Draft will be between Colorado quarterback Shedeur Sanders and Penn State edge defender Abdul Carter.

Following Friday’s Colorado Pro Day, the Tennessee Titans cancelled a private workout for Sanders and cornerback/wide receiver Travis Hunter. The Titans have been considered likely to select Miami quarterback Cam Ward with the No. 1 overall pick, and that would now appear all but certain.

Meanwhile, until recently the Cleveland Browns had been heavily linked to both Sanders and Penn State edge defender Abdul Carter. That appears to have shifted.

There is a “growing belief around the league” from “high-ranking executives and coaches” that the Browns will select Hunter. The team had dinner with Hunter and Sanders on Thursday night.

Cleveland owner Jimmy Haslam, trying to recover from the DeShaun Watson disaster, indicated to media that the Browns won’t “force” a quarterback selection.

“It would be great if we could get the quarterback, but we’re not going to force it,” Haslam said, adding later, “I think the message is if the right person’s there, we’re going to take him. If not, we’ll figure (quarterback) out for a year or two until we get the right person.”
Jared Mueller of SB Nation’s Dawgs By Nature confirmed Howe’s reporting recently on the ‘Valentine’s Views’ podcast.

“Currently from what we understand the Browns do not plan on selecting Shedeur Sanders number two,” Mueller said. “I think for you and I number two and number three are just too rich for Shedeur Sanders.”

Mueller also reinforced Howe’s reporting that it is Hunter, not Carter, that the Browns are eyeing at No. 2.

“Abdul Carter does make sense for the Browns. It is not who I expect them to select, but at this point in time we might be talking 60-40, 55-45,” Mueller said. “When they look at their very terrible offense they see the ability [by drafting Hunter] to be really creative with Hunter, [Jerry] Jeudy, [David Njoku], [Nick] Chubb for a year, [Cedric] Tillman.

“That’s all of a sudden an offense that can do some things whereas just adding another talented defender doesn’t change the direction and the trajectory of the team.”

There is plenty of debate in the draft community regarding whether or not the Giants, after signing Russell Wilson and Jameis Winston and with head coach Brian Daboll needing to win in 2025, can take a quarterback who will begin the season on the bench at No. 3.

Todd McShay of The Ringer, who has Carter as the No. 1 prospect on his Big Board, posted on X that it’s “not a difficult decision IMO.” If you read his newsletter or watch his show on YouTube, you know McShay has been consistent that the Giants should take the best player at No. 3 and trade back into Round 1 for a quarterback like Jaxson Dart."

Best case scenario would be for Warren, Jeanty to both be gone so poles doesnt do something stupid, and shadeur be there still at #10. Then have some dumbo team like the steelers trade up so you can take a DL at 21 where it isnt as much of a reach
If the Steelers want to trade up for Sanders they most likely need to leapfrog the Saints at #9.

"Saints are the betting favorite to draft Colorado QB Shedeur Sanders

Darrion Gray, Saints Wire
Mon, April 7, 2025 at 9:00 AM CDT

Kellen Moore wasn't present at Colorado's pro day. It was an interesting choice, as the New Orleans Saints are clearly in the quarterback business. Moore has made time to see Jaxson Dart, Will Howard and Quinn Ewers, but he didn't do the same to see Shedeur Sanders.

You could argue Moore didn't expect Sanders to reach the ninth pick in the NFL draft, but he still made time to see Cam Ward. Also, there have been whispers around whether or not Sanders will slide in the draft.

FanDuel Sportsbook certainly expects a slide is on the way, and they weren't swayed by Moore's absence in Boulder, Co. They still gave the Saints the best odds to land Sanders over the Cleveland Browns, who hold the second overall pick.

That's what's interesting about the projection of Sanders being the pick in the first round. New Orleans is the last team in need of a quarterback in the top-10, so that means all the other squads would have to pass on Sanders. That includes the Browns, New York Giants and New York Jets. The Saints having better odds of landing Sanders than all of those teams."

I wouldn’t call those people “losers”, I’d just say that we view certain things as more important than others, that’s all.

Even if you do whine, I’m not gonna go at you too hard because you turned me onto potential difference-makers OT Kelvin Banks Jr., G Donovan Jackson, and DT Tyliek Willams as potential draftees with our current positions.
