Which top 10 offense has worse skill players than what the Bears have? I'm confused at the idea that the Bears are somehow set. Keep in mind teams like KC, Chargers, Dolphins, Texans, Cowboys aren't even top 10 and all have arguably better weapons than the Bears.

Are you all really forgetting the Bears were #32 in offense last season?
lol. Is this serious?
Chargers have Ladd. That’s it. Everyone else is average to well below average. (Yes this includes the plodding Harris)

Cowboys have Lamb and a decent TE in Ferguson. Texans have Collins, who can’t stay healthy, and Mixon.

The Bears offense was 32nd because of Caleb being awful, the line and its injuries and the coaching. It wasn’t because of the skill position talent.

Top offenses all have 5-7 playmakers, here are the Bears top playmakers....

Caleb Williams, DeAndre Swift, Dj Moore, Rome Odunze, Olamide Zaccheaus, Cole Kmet

What top offense has worse playmakers??

DJ Moore was a perenial 1k yard receiver.

Cole kmet prior to last year was a top 10 TE the prior 2 years

Rome Odunze was a top 10 drafted WR

There are very few teams that have that talent. Not my fault you are stupid and hate the bears weapons judging them off a season where everyone played like shit due to a rookie QB and a terrible offensive scheme.

The amazing OL and a good DL is why Bears fans want to see more done in the trenches especially when you see what Philly did to KC having even better trenches. The Bears especially need a great OL because CW is so raw. Poles failed via building the team from the outside in and is now correcting that, er should I say BJ is now correcting the approach.

I feel the team needs another RB but I don't want to see that in the first. Outside of that, I really want to see the focus on the trenches. I also don't want to see Poles giving up more draft capital for expensive players causing future cap hell.

Nah clearly what we need is more weapons for caleb to overthrow /s

Tbh going into the season with just those weapons and a hugely improved OL should be enough to climb out of the basement.

Who would be a better big slot, Warren or T Mac?

Getting more weapons will teach caleb how to throw the ball past 10 yards. Dont worry

If rome odunze takes a step the bears have better weapons than most top 10 offenses last year. Swift is clearly needed to be upgraded, but the pass catching weapons are good.

Again, not all of their faults caleb was not good as a rookie. If he actually hit rome on half the targets he missed him on downfield his rookie season would have been compared to the other WR's drafted around him.

You do realize our much beloved, HoF RB Walter Payton wasn't a fast RB, right? Hell, not even in his era.

4.4 guy and later in his career slower. Longest run from scrimmage was 85 yards and if memory is correct, he didn't score on it, was chased down.

Why I could see them taking jeanty, even if im not a fan.

Look at the best offense in the NFL last year, the ravens. What receiving weapon is that special? Zay Flowers is just "okay" - maybe he can be one day soon. Mark Andrews put up a lot of TD's but looks like he's aging as a receiver. Other than that its just derrick henry and lamar jackson.

What great weapons did the cummanders have?

Packers had a top 10 offense with a bunch of #2 WR's and a TE who is basically just as good as cold cement.

Bills had a top 10 offense with a bunch of guys who were mid or bad

Bengals, Chase is clearly a monster but tee higgins is basically DJ Moore level. Not DJ's fault he has constantly played with trash at QB.

Bucs had a top 10 offense with an old ass mike evans and a TE worse than cole kmet after godwin died.

Seems like a correlation between all the top offenses in the NFL is a strong run game and a QB who can actually throw the ball.

The "Cummanders" had a QB that actually lived up to his billing.

I get the strong run game and agree you need it. But I won’t agree investing a first round pick is the right move especially with the possible players available at 10 for the dl. Some teams have the luxury to splurge like that but idt a team that has won 15 games in 3 years is in a place to throw away a first rounder on a rb. These rbs being mentioned aren’t even close to Barkley level of talent

Ohh I agree. I dont want barkley at 10, just saying why I could understand it if they did it.

Either way all they need is a strong run game and caleb to learn how to throw the ball, not more receiving weapons. Rome odunze had like 664 yards of unrealized air yards last year, I believe that was top 3 in the league if not #1. Caleb was just really bad past 10 yards and adding more weapons isnt fixing his accuracy issues.

4.4 is actually fast even in the NFL.

Yup he has to get his downfield accuracy on point. Investment at hc and interior ol was better than more weapons.
