The only thing I have to offer on those two is PTBD from safeties named Major.Does anyone have opinions on the two UDFA Safeties Major Burns and Tysheem Johnson?
Johnson is pretty small but he played a lot of good football for Oregon. I thought he would get drafted.
I don’t know much about Burns.
@knoxville7, can you give us any intel on Burns? You’re my “go to” SEC guy.
Shemar Stewart not participating in rookie camp until he gets his contract...
...even with the standard injury waivers for rookies.
Everyone here was pretty unanimous that his measureables weren't worth the risk with so little production. Now he’s holding out. Yikes!
Cincy is such an awful organization.
It’s ironic because he has to be considered insurance because of the Hendrickson situation.
I’m sure it will be resolved soon but it’s still kind of funny.
I’m not sure it does get resolved. At least not as in Hendrickson staying. I think he gets dealt at the deadline or they lose him in FA.
I was talking about resolution with the rookie. I think you’re right about Trey.
Ah, that makes sense. Yeah, the rook will sign soon. Still think he’s going to be a major bust
I said I would not ***** no matter which player they selected but I’m not sure I would have been able to keep my promise if they drafted him.
I never really thought they would and I didn’t see Loveland coming either.
It’s crazy but I knew 100 percent when NE was on the clock at 38, that Henderson or Burden was their pick at 39.
When Banks went off the board at 9, I had no idea what was going to happen at 10.
Same. Didn’t see Loveland coming but it made all the sense in the world after the first 9 fell the way they did. I always did like Loveland over Warren (wasn’t nearly as high on Warren as others), so I’m glad they picked him.
I was so bummed when Henderson went right before the bears, but burden is one hell of a consolation prize.
Next off season I’m sure it will be geared toward DE, RB, and S.
I would have been happy with Henderson, but I think Burden is the better player.
One of the Bears’ UDFAs, Xavier Carlton had 18 sacks at Cal. Stewart would need several more seasons at A&M to sniff that number. His lack of production is really troubling for a top 20 pick.
I’m more than fine with LB3, though.
