He needed to slide at the 30 and they would have had another play. I don’t like the strategy anyway. One play from 30 vs 3 plays from the 40? Give me the 3 plays.

He was roasted for being super conservative at the end of the game. Wonder if Aaron gives him credit for “developing him”, and getting the SB win. Maybe having a HOF QB had something to do with it huh?
Uh.... I don't think he was lol. I don't recall that.

Aaron has credited McCarthy as the most influential coach of his career. McCarthy completely overhauled Rodgers throwing motion.

Okay so... Sean Payton? Mike Holmgren? You don't think they are good coaches? McCarthy had a better tenure then both.

No, I absolutely do not recall anyone saying he should be fired, let alone everyone. That's some serious revisionist history.
Okay maybe not everyone but we had a few people (on ccs) claiming he was awful and should be fired. He's a really good coach. He's won a lot with garbagollo

Well, if LA wins, the Packers get the team "nobody wants to face".

If Arizona wins, they get a free falling Cards team coming off a Monday night game, traveling for a road game against a team with a bye. WTF is up with that scheduling, BTW? That is INSANE.

If Stafford fucks up tomorrow and lets Arizona win, I will puke. (especially since the Rams are the last remaining leg of a parlay that is alive)

The funniest part about that play call is that they still needed a touchdown after the spike, so the only thing that play would have done is given them only 1 chance at the endzone instead of two. Just utterly incomprehensible playcalling.

There were definitely people talking about it. Not just on here, but I remember seeing a couple of SF area Lambert's posting articles about his replacement.

Was never a real possibility, but it was talked about.

Yeah, his record with immy G would make one think Jimmy G is really good, but man, he is Captain Dink and Dunk! He's Steve Walsh with better hair. (jk)

Because in America, people don’t control their sugar intake until the point where they are 100 lbs overweight and that leads to diabetes.

Nope. They get SF regardless of the other game because SF is the 6th seed.

Agreed. I almost want them to play Lance. Garapollo is likely to lose them a game. Lance may to, but Lance could also be a positive difference maker. I realize that's not a realistic decision at this point though.

A VERY underrated (at least by some) aspect of being a great QB is knowing shit like that.

There was literally NO advantage to running there, but Dak didn't know better.

Like an infielder needing to know where he is going with the ball if hit to him, you need to know this before the play, not try to process it during the play.

As a QB, you cannot cross the line of scrimmage there. You just can't.
