I'm new to all this and don't know any of the actual names of the shoes so bear with me.

I've been buying Jordans since the early 90's but I've always bought them to wear rather than collect. I usually have more than one pair at a time so I can rotate them and they don't wear out as fast. For a long time I was buying a new pair every year. Now I might get a pair once every 2 to 3 years if I see something I really like.

I think these were the first pair I bought in 1991? They finally wore out and I had to throw them away after about 10 years or so.

I have a pair of these still sitting in my closet. I don't really like them as much as I did when I bought them so they haven't been worn much at all.

I had these when I was in HS and made the mistake of not locking my locker during baseball practice. So some asshole stole them out of my locker.

I have these and they are still in really good shape except for the fact that the sole came almost entirely off the right one. I've glued it a couple times but it never stays. I usually only wore them in the winter because they are so thick and heavy.

I had these except they were white. I eventually wore them out as well.

I wore these out too. I've never owned a pair of shoes with straps since then. Too much of a pain to take on and off.

I got these in 1996 when my first daughter was born. I wanted the black and red ones but I couldn't find them anywhere. She got a baby pair of the black/red.

I picked these up at the outlet in Auroa a few years ago. They are still in decent shape.

These I got sometime this past winter. I haven't worn them but a dozen times so far.

i tend to hold out on a lot of sneakers on my radar and pounce when i catch a sale. what are your guys' tips on finding good deals? i found this article through nicekicks:

Andy Oliver's Guide to Sneaker Deals | Complex

For the most part I used to put in the work. On a day I didn't have anything to do I would hit uo shoe spots all over the city or the far suburbs. Been to a few of the stores stockrooms and some of the shit in there was amazing. 90s OG stuff

As for the newer limited stuff stuff I still have some decent connects but I don't use em unless its for something serious like the Banned 1s. My guy actually called me while I was in Miami and asked if I wanted a pair so I got very lucky on that one

Damn 10 hrs? At least you got a quality sneaker though.

The longest I've ever waited in line was for the Lebron Chamber of Fear at NikeTown. Waited about 5-6 hrs.

Yeah it was a pretty long wait man lol. And yeah man the leather on them is too sick and for $120? Worth it. One of the best quality retro Jordan I've seen in awhile.

10 Hours? Wow.

I waited 6+ hours in line at Niketown for the Cool Grey III's in 2007. Love that shoe.
