so ive been looking at shoe decreasers lately, i bought the DeCreaser from gourmet kicks for my wolf grey 5s and im not really happy with it. also theyre a ***** to install in the retro 5 since the tongue is secured to the midsole and cant be opened very far when the shoe is delaced. they are much better than the force fields as far as preventing the creases, however they are equally uncomfortable. the box fresh (sneaker shields) are sold out and i cant find them anywhere, i wonder why that is.

what do you guys do to prevent toe box creases?

I really don't do anything for creases. After I wear em I just put in the shoe trees they come with

yea, i do that too but it doesnt help enough...

i ordered a pair of sneaker shields. watched a few reviews on them and it seems they have a higher level of comfort and work better. ill post my thoughts on them when they come in.

but so far,

two thumbs down on force fields. they are too soft and dont really do what theyre supposed to, and also they squish down on your toes. might be ok if youre wearing a shoe that is 1-2 sizes too big however. but the protection is minimal.

one thumb up/one thumb down on the DeCreaser. a bit awkward to install depending on the shoe, not very comfortable, and moisture builds up in the shoe from terrible breathability. but, it seems to get the job done, it creases slightly as your weight transfers to the ball of your foot and to your toes, but pops right back. the crease disappears, but i can imagine the crease eventually becoming deeper with every step. would take longer to get deep in there, but will still happen no doubt.

the sneaker shields look thin yet sturdy enough to get the job done, and leaves plenty of wiggle room. you can even trim to your liking. but we'll see how it goes

i usually dont worry about creases on most shoes ...but on v's ...my buddy told me he put a heel cushion under the toe of his insole & it almost kills the creases.... haven't had a chance to try yet...

200 for those cool greys is a pretty good deal nowadays... can probably flip them for 300

^yea I did but they didn't have anywhere near 200. It was between 70-75 and it was limited to 1 per person but people bough they whole families to buy them extras. Mostly resellers
