Then don't watch. Crying everything someone has a negative take on a historically shitty franchise must get tiring.

National media generally don't like the Bears and won't put much effort in covering a shitty team. Such is life until we prove worthy of better coverage.

I was explaining why a large number of fans were pushing back so strongly on certain narratives, which several posters here have been running on about lately.

An example came up so I pointed it out to offer perspective. But I guess backing up an observation with a clear example is crying now?

Like I said, I’m not arguing against the irrelevance and futility of the Bears. Obviously they’ll get better coverage when they win more games…you know, like the Jags. ?

Its like you just ignored everything he just said. He does not have a problem with the media being down on the Bears.

He has a problem with lazy journalism and dumb takes. Clark is one of the worst. He obviously does not do much homework. I don't even know if i have seen him discuss the Bears particularly until this clip but watching his takes is always cringe for me.

You didn't read what I said. I said expecting anyone to do a bunch of research for a shitty franchise doesn't make sense. Hence why I said they wont put much effort into covering a shitty team.

Loved this kid out of high school when he committed to play for the Tennessee Vols. Wasn't very bright academically and struggled to see the field in his first 2 seasons (due to academic eligibility and the depth chart) before jetting out for immediate playing time elsewhere. Went to Colorado State where he had a great year with near 1,400 receiving yards.

Had a fairly good rookie season with the Dolphins as an undrafted free agent in a season they had a depleted roster and were "tanking" for Tua.

Overall, he is a physical freak and could take over N'Keal's role as a big bodied receiving option. Could be a top red-zone target for Fields. I love giving this kid an opportunity if we can make it work.

There's a whole lot of in between.

I don't want sunshine pumped up my ass, but I am sick of some of these writers who go out of their way to be douches on a daily basis. They seem to have the attitude that if anyone says anything positive it is because they don't know as much as the genius writer. It's a tired act, and nowhere near reality.

Give examples.

Interesting episode with all three of Hoge, Jahns, and Fishbain.

Interesting to hear them talk about how there have not really been that many long throws in camp so far. Still waiting for a great practice from Fields where he simply wows. He's been good, some up and downs, but doesn't sound like he has been 'great' so far.

Best position groups look to be the secondary and the runningbacks at this point in camp.

They spent some time talking Braxton Jones - definitely has a legit shot to be the opening day starter at this point. Certainly looks the part and in his favor for getting ready is that he gets to practice against the strength of the defensive line. Not something any of them expected even when he first started getting reps with the 1's in May and June.

Some praise for the coaching staff.

Some complaints about the timing of the family fest day at Soldier Field being during the day on a weekday.

Can't remember the other highlights now

Ok but thats a BS excuse. Why bring him on the show like he is some kind of insider and he says the same narrative that has been going on for months, even if true. I would bet any poster here could give more insight than he did. He offers nothing and people have a right to point it out.

Injury prone WR that has shown flashes when healthy. Wants out of a crowded Miami WR room.
Could be obtained with just a bag of chips

Seriously, we are going to break this poor kid. He’s going to throw a bunch of picks against us. Shanny’s going to go run heavy and try to hide his flaws, basic passing, with a variation of the triple read option. Teams’ll show a stacked box and then move into single high and confuse his reads. Fans’ll clamor for JimmyG. It’s going to be bad. Fields will look like the better pick.

I am worried he’s going to get straight up broken.
So, basically, he will be the 49ers version of Mitch. Shouldn't have been taken, and shouldn't be the starter. The only saving grace, is Shanny is nowhere near as fucking remedial as Nagy.

It is reality BS or not.

Expecting steady progress is more realistic. New offense, new players, new coaches. So much new shit. OTAs and a week of training camp isn't enough time to make all of that flow. It's going to continue ramping up into the season. People should temper their expectations. This season is going to have ups and downs. Fields and the offense are going to have ups and downs. But as long as their is progress, and not regression, I'm good with that.
