Asked why the league is seeking a one-year suspension of Watson, Goodell provided a blunt and strong assessment.

Because we’ve seen the evidence,” Goodell said, via James Palmer of NFL Network. “[Judge Robinson] was very clear about the evidence. . . that there were multiple violations here, and they were egregious an it was predatory behavior. Those are things that we always felt were important for us to address in a way that’s responsible.”

Goodell basically calling Watson a predator

This is getting tiresome. The offer came before training camp. That's why he's been holding in. If they thought it was progressing nicely even though he was holding in, that means that they were negotiating in good faith while he was holding in and the offer wasn't based on him holding in. Today's tactic had nothing to do with our discussion. Not difficult to follow.
and that word salad has zero to do with my point.

You’re right…it is getting tiresome. When ppl refuse to answer questions and would rather twist words…we’ll, that’s most of ccs…

Trey Lance goes 12 for 15 today with 3 TDs and no int. He seems to be progressing nicely. He has a huge advantage over Justin Fields in the quality of his receivers and a much better O line.

Too bad supporting our franchise QB wasn't a priority for the new GM.

Every nfl qb looks good more often than not in camp.

Sexy rexy would have been an mvp if camp stats mattered . Let’s see how the guy does when he sees an actual pass rush in his face

That would make sense if I refused to answer a question or twisted your words. But that isn't what happened.

I explained to you why Roquan holding in hasn't affected the contract offer. I've done that for like 20 posts today.

The funny thing is Lance has had more bad days, than good. Let this idiot tell it and it's the next coming of Tom Brady

I played in both, one in high school and one in college.

Why don't you, off the top of your head, tell me about the basic differences in how a will plays vs. how an ILB plays? And then tell me the basic differences in how each plays in nickel, which is what they will be in 70% of snaps.

I love me some Cliff Stein but if he really is trying to put de-escaltors that no other top player has in their contract then I tell him to go eat a dick if I am Quan. Simple as that.

I don't blame Stein as I would try and sneak that shit in there too if I can. But Quan called your bullshit so time to ante up or trade him.
Is Stein a football guy? What I'm asking is he the one that is putting in these de-escalators, or am I being a bit too pedantic? I have no doubt that he did the contract, but I'm guessing this was the behest of Poles and not his own idea.

It is possible it is at the behest of Poles but I suspect that given Poles is a bit green and Stein is a cap and contract specialist, he has more input on how things are structured. Especially since some of these clauses don't appear to be similar to stuff KC did.

I also believe that is the reason Pace got rid of him because Pace wanted someone who would just follow his lead whereas Stein has been with the franchise a long time and had some cache with the McCaskeys to push his agenda hence why the McCaskeys kept him around after Pace removed him from managing the cap and contracts.
