I tried to watch him quite a bit and he was very solid. My guess is they try to roll out .... Jones WH Mustipher Jenkins RR.... with Fields for about a 1/2 next weekend to see where they stand. They then have 2 weeks to get Patrick healthy and up to speed at C for the opener .

I'm not sure I consider that wide open. The db behind esb was clearly trying to bait fields into that throw. I think he probably could get the throw in there, but the db thought he had just enough room to make a play on the ball there

I said this very thing in the game day thread. He was right there in front of Fields just standing across the 1st down marker wide open. Ended up with a field goal on that drive.

That db was right with him then slowly drifted off just enough to bait fields. He was ready to break on the ball as soon as fields would look at esb. That's why you kept seeing him flinch in that direction
