Honestly Tyron Smith should probably retire. As incredible of a LT as he is, his body just doesn't hold up anymore. He's had a lot of serious injuries and nagging stuff and this one was with pretty little contact. Odds of him ever having a healthy season are basically 0 at this point.

Fun story.. I had this same injury happen when I was 22, but opted not to do surgery as my tendon was only partially torn from the bone. It took me 18 months to be able to fully move pain free.

The worst part of mine was it caused a bone chip as well- which remained floating in my knee until I had surgery 12 years later. It started to fray my PCL more than 10 years after the initial injury, which led to random pains in the knee again and occasional buckling of my knee at random times.

Fun stuff all around.
