He admitted to the sex, but here is California law: Any person 21 years of age or older who engages in an act of unlawful sexual intercourse with a minor who is under 16 years of age is guilty of either a misdemeanor or a felony.

Hopefully they get what they need to hang his fucking ass.

When I owned a bar, I never took home a girl from the bar. If they wanted to hangout, it was always a date or a meet up.

The legal age of consent under California state law is 18 years of age. Unlike some states, California does not have a Romeo and Juliet law or close-in-age exception. 1 2

The language of 261.5 PC states that:

“(a) Unlawful sexual intercourse is an act of sexual intercourse accomplished with a person who is not the spouse of the perpetrator, if the person is a minor. For the purposes of this section, a “minor” is a person under the age of 18 years and an “adult” is a person who is at least 18 years of age. (b) Any person who engages in an act of unlawful sexual intercourse with a minor who is not more than three years older or three years younger than the perpetrator, is guilty of a misdemeanor. (c) Any person who engages in an act of unlawful sexual intercourse with a minor who is more than three years younger than the perpetrator is guilty of either a misdemeanor or a felony, and shall be punished by imprisonment in a county jail not exceeding one year, or by imprisonment pursuant to subdivision (h) of Section 1170. Just was reading a more detailed site and it appears what I had found was wrong. It is rape if, on your 18th birthday, you have sex with your girlfriend/boyfriend that is 17yrs 364days 23hrs 59 minutes and 59 seconds old. Thus the dude should already be in jail.

He can't be suspended by the NFL as it occurred prior to joining the league. So any discipline would have to be from the Bills. Roger may call the Bills and encourage them to treat them like how Texans treated Watson last year and sit him with pay voluntarily until more clarity regarding his case is revealed.

In two preseason games, Gipson has only one quarterback hit over 35 snaps against the Chiefs and Seahawks. The Bears will require much better than that if he’s going to be their starting defensive on the left side.

In pass-rush situations, Gipson has moved inside. It’s still a work in progress.

“I think I’m comfortable in my pass rush,” he said. “I think I can go inside and outside honestly. You know, do I have a preference? My preference is getting to the quarterback. This is interesting as Bears are stronger at DE than DT so having Gipson move inside to play 3T on passing downs makes sense if he can make that transition.
