Big three points for the boys last night. What a comeback.

That tie to El Salvador really hurts.

Most games are must win now and the team doesn't feel set at all. It's patchwork and very young.

I'll believe we qualified when we do but think mature teams like Canada and Jamaica create a massive issue for us.

I won't be as sad as 4 years ago given the depth of the pool. It doesn't get lower than dropping a qualifying win and your in to Trinidad.

Costa Rica, Panama, Jamaica, Canada, Honduras all have quality squads this time in addition to US/Mexico.

Maybe we can expect they all take points off each other too and we have just enough.

But McKennie was one of the reasons for optimism.

We have the guys but we haven't been able to get them all on the field at once.

The under 23 squad makes you think 2026 is a lock and 2022 experience just gravy.

The USMNT's best striker is an 18 year old that plays in the MLS.

Pulisic, Reyna, Busio, Musah, McKennie, Pepi, de la Fuente... are going to create an almost Man City or Spain style offense and score, they just need more beef behind them now.

I like the Zimmerman inclusion he was thugging before injury last turn.

How is it looking for them now?

Not in danger zone yet. Need 3 on Wednesday. 1 keeps them alive. But this was the easiest round of matches for them.

This is what I worried about, Costa Rica. Not the team you want to need points against.

This is a really big game. If we let Costa Rica into the mix with Canada and Panama already there. ..its gonna get Harry and we haven't shown a full force team yet at every level we can rely on when it gets tight.

We have forwards and a couple goalies, but we need better D and to figure out how we are going to link up reliably.

I hope we see Yedlin, Zardes, Busio off the bench. Maybe Weah.

Busio reminded me of Messi defensively. He will pick your pocket. I couldn't be more impressed with an 18 year old midfielder.

Oh no. 1 minute in. Now we just have to beat Keylor Navas...twice.

USMNT is crazy young.

Klinsmans international push is finally paying dividends.

I think we are taking a big risk with 2022 qualifying but this ship will be sailing downwind in 2026 and probably be called a golden generation by 2030.
