Been listening to a lot of Childish Gambino. Really like the beats and his rhymes.

Byrds Sweetheart of the Rodeo with Gram Parsons vocals back in the mix.

On the original album Parsons is featured singing lead vocals on the songs "Hickory Wind", "You're Still on My Mind", and "Life in Prison". Due to legal threat from Lee Hazlewood (who contended that the singer was still under contract to his LHI record label), Gram's vocals on the three songs "The Christian Life", "You Don't Miss Your Water", and "One Hundred Years from Now" were replaced by Roger McGuinn. Parsons' original vocals were finally released on The Byrds box set in 1990 (as well as Sacred Hearts & Fallen Angels: The Gram Parsons Anthology in 2001)

I've been getting back into the Flaming Lips. The only band to rhyme the word "orange" in a song (kinda). I've always wanted to see these guys live, I heard they're great. Anyone been to one of their concerts?

I saw them year ago at 10k lakes music festival... its a fucking show dude. If you ever have the chance to see them live do it... shit that goes for anyone even if they dont like the music... The show is something fucking else. Ive only seen them once some of the guys i was with have seen then multiple times and said they do the same show every show.. they all knew exactly what song they were gonna play next. but i believe everyone should see them at least once if they have the chance.

I saw them play on their THE SOFT BULLETIN tour in Lawrence, KS about 15 years ago. Amazing show. Amazing album.

From wikipedia:

The Soft Bulletin was lauded by critics and fans alike and topped numerous "Best of 1999" lists. The album is now considered by many to be the Flaming Lips's masterpiece. The Soft Bulletin is considered by some to be partially responsible for establishing the latter-day identity of The Flaming Lips, and as its following expanded over the years after its release, paving the way to their being among the most well-respected groups of the 2000s. The album sold 38,000 copies in the U.S. in 2006.

In 2006, Robert Dimery chose The Soft Bulletin and its follow-up Yoshimi Battles the Pink Robots as part of his book 1001 Albums You Must Hear Before You Die.Pitchfork Media ranked the album 3rd on the Top 100 albums of the 1990s list, and awarded it a rare score of 10.0.

Upon the album's ten-year anniversary in May 2009, The Record Review featured the album as a part of its "Ten Years Later" feature, saying that "ten years removed, The Soft Bulletin is still an undeniably essential listen that belongs in every record collection."It was announced that in July 2011 the band would perform the record live in its entirety as part of All Tomorrow's Parties 'Don't Look Back' season.

Clouds Taste Metallic is another great Lips album. Don't let the slow start fool ya, this album really rocks out, especially: Psychiatric Explorations of the Fetus With Needles, This Here Giraffe, Guy Who Got a Headache and Accidentally Saves the World, Kim's got a Watermelon gun, Lightning Strikes the Postman and Bad Days.
