Has anyone read Bear Essential? I picked up two other Chicago Sports books today -- and I'm debating on which one to read first. Also Got "Settling the Score" by Mike North and "Cubs Forever" by Bob Vorwald.

animal farm(not long a read at all....but orwell puts a lot of details..great parallelism with the russian revolution..funny how well a british writer who has never even lived in russia has such knowledge of the place)

and butcher's crossing(it was written in the 60s...takes place in the late 1800s in the wild west...a kid drops out of harvard and goes out west to find his relationship with nature..inspired by the words of ralph waldo emerson..i wont spoil the rest...its a good book though...fast read as well)

Got done reading "The Sociopath Next Door" for my Psychology class. Great book.

Read "Then Ditka Said to Payton" a few months ago. Liked that as well.

About to start "Never Die Easy: The Autobiography of Walter Payton" soon.

Just finished Othello for school, it was pretty good! I know it inspired Captain Iago's screen name ;) and now we are starting Of Mice and Men

Since we have "What are you listening to/watching on youtube" threads, we should get one started for the readers out there. Post what you're currently reading, just finished reading or what you're looking to read in the future. Even discuss books or ask about any books you're interested in.

I'm reading CCS :troll:

I just finished "Boots on the Ground by Dusk". It's the story of Pat Tillman, the Arizona Cardinals safety that joined the army rangers after 9/11. It's really good, I highly recommend it
