CQ is a one year fluke man, he hasn't looked nearly as good since 2008 and he is never coming back. Just forget about him.

Sixth in the AL in HR's. 14th in SLG. Despite his awful start.

Sadly, due to the fact that he's an awful OF, his WAR is still only .2

I really wish Ozzie would wake up and move him to DH

Admittedly I have never calculated WAR myself (since its always available on the internet), but...

'08 CQ's UZR/150 was -25.2 in LF, and the "fielding" factor in his WAR was -3.3.

'10 CQ's UZR/150 is -30.9, and the "fielding" factor in his WAR is -14.1.

And thats before any positional adjustment.

I would say there's definitely something going on there to account for the fact that RF is a more important defensive position than LF. Unless im missing something.
