People would be smart to lay off of the Chase Headley hype. He really hasn't done that much and people are already ridiculously building him up.

He's been playing in the biggest park in the league. His home road splits are ridiculous. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to realize that playing in Wrigley will tremendously help his stats.

The Marlins probably should've tried to trade for Chase Headley :lol: Reyes is a very good player but all those injuries have to be worrisome, I'm surprised the Marlins paid so much even though Reyes would've gotten a huge payday (just not as big as that or so I thought).

Yeah, I recall the leaked documents of their financials, but it still seems weird that a cheapskate franchise would suddenly find all this random money in their mattresses.

The Cubs wouldn't sign Reyes, though. We have this dude named Castro. Perhaps you've heard of him. Yeah, the Marlins would be nuts to get a guy who actually plays 3B that is cheap. Totally nuts.
