Cubs could have interest in Polanco, if the Phills sign ARAM.. Please noooooooo...at least I'm pretty sure it won't happen.

If they were to get Polanco it'd be more of a dump trade (i.e. Cubs take on money and give them the shittiest possible player) and Polanco would supplant Barney at 2B. It might not suck but I don't think it's ideal.

According to Tom Haudricourt, the O's, Blue Jays and M's are not in on Fielder. He said watch out for the Cubs.

Fielder said he would rather play for a team that he feels most comfortable and he should feel good with the Cubs.

I'm not exactly sure what he does but I think he used to work at a NY radio station.

He doesn't get everything first but when he does its WAAAY before everyone.

I think he can break stuff early because he doesnt have to wait for an editor to OK the story.

He broke Reyes to the Marlins at least a week ago. Might have been two weeks ago.

He needs to look at the recent attendance. This idea that the fanbase doesnt care or is polite and acquiescant is way off.

No one has been going to games. It's been like this long enough now where people feel less compelled to go. People have moved on to other things. The Cubs need to really start looking at the fanbase as customers. The longer they continue putting garbage out on the field, the longer it will take for them to win fans back.

The goodwill is no longer there.

Theo needs to familiarize himself with the story about how Ricketts told his dad, that the team can stink and people will come anyway. Guess what! They haven't been coming. People are familiar with this and are cynical.

my sig is for CO. my pic on here was for you bouncin back and forth between the sox and the cubs. follow 1 whether they are bad or good, or follow both...not just jump to the team thats in the news. thats all im sayin, not bein mean, just bein real.

There hasn't been much news about the Sox recently. Now with winter meetings picking up the pace I'll be in there more. It's just looking like a depressing 2012 season right now on the South Side.
