You should have, I've been to a show at the IMPACT ZONE, and it was absolutely amazing, especially since you get in for free. Given that was a PPV I'm sure it would've been more exciting than a taping, it still would've been worth your while.
And as some of them are ex-WWE guys, look at guys like Sting, AJ Styles, Beer Money, Crimson, Matt Morgan, Samoa Joe, and the list goes on. That's a really unfair stereotype given to TNA by WWE fans.
Sting is 52 years old and still in the ring. You may say that's a testament to his physical conditioning. To me, that says he made some bad investments and is forced to keep working.
wait, sports section? really?
Rush, we need a thesbian section for wrestling. please get on that ASAP. great, thanks!
Say what you want about the Stinger, but he can still go out and kick ass. He's far past his prime, but he's still one of the best wrestlers in the world right now.
I'm one of the few wrestling fans old enough to remember when he and Rick Steiner were part of "Hyatt & Hot Stuff International" in Bill Watts' Universal Wrestling Federation.
I would've loved to have seen him, either with the bleached blond surfer look or with "The Crow" persona in WWE during the Attitude Era. You know they probably talked to him more than once.
LOL..more major injuries happen in "wrestling" then MLB or NBA
TNA is a joke and the WWE has been too since 2003.
How is TNA a joke? I agree with WWE being a joke recently, because honestly it's a children's show now in my opinion, but what about TNA makes it a joke? Without anywhere near the amount of money WWE has, they continue to bring in great talent, and it's a fantastic alternative to the same-old same-old shit WWE brings to the table.
Is wrestling still as popular as it used to be. I haven't followed it since I was like 12, but was just curious about it's mainstream popularity these days.
I've seen it on TV from time to time but change it after about 2 minutes. I honestly can't believe I used to watch the stuff. No offense, but it's just so ridiculous to me.
TNA is terrible. Most of their storylines are ridiculously corny and revolve around olden time wrestlers. Their announcers are extremely bad. Back when the spotlight was on the x-division, and the six-sided ring, it was interesting and more matches were good and exciting. Now it is tiresome... they keep bringing back guys like Jeff Hardy every time he checks out of rehab and they don't have a single personality that can carry them to the mountain top of "sports entertainment."
You guys should get back into it. There are two great televised companies: Ring of Honor which comes on HDNet on Mondays, and TNA which comes on Spike on Thursdays. It's worth your time to just check it out for a few weeks and see what you think.
You gonna be at the ROH show in Chicago Ridge?
