I don't have a problem with this as long as they draft someone. Let Foles and Dalton battle it out to be a bridge quarterback, its not like shitty quarterbacks have kept the Bears out of the playoffs lately.

This is exactly how Pace has always done things. Fill a hole with a shitty free agent and then try and really solve the problem in the draft. I mean yes I'm sure the Bears made offers for Russ and Watson but both of those GM's should be insta-fired if they trade either guy. So the draft has always been the most reasonable avenue for improvement. This is just Pace making sure he has SOMEONE other than Foles.
