Domestic violence is largely a law enforcement and individual team (i.e., the player's employer) issue.

This sort of shit (as well as the horrific officiating and inconsistent 'player safety' shit that is ruining the game) should be the #priority.

BTW, where is the Players Association on this sort of thing? Shouldn't they be standing up for their fellow player brethren?

Unions have always been selfish. They don't really care about the player or the company. Unions are great when they aren't entirely corrupt. What goes around comes around.
