Green Bay is going one and done tomorrow.
They barely squeezed by san fran in the regular season, and San fran never established a run game.

I will take a hard hitting defense running the ball over green bay throwing in single digit temps.

Beyond that I am more impressed with San Francisco winning double digit games in their division than I am Green Bay doing what they did in this division.

We will see how this prediction plays out, but I am predicting some pretty sad packers fans tomorrow.

49ers were the worst possible matchup for the Packers. Their ability and willingness to run the ball on offense and get pass rush on D. They are a great road playoff type team. I thought they might have blown their opportunity when Kittle dropped a likely TD. Jimmy G looked like a house cat playing in snow with wolves. But the 49ers did a great job sticking with their running game even though they were trailing. Could you imagine what Nagy would have called in this game? Also, how the Packers let Samuel get a 10 yard run there to get in FG range on 3rd and long is beyond me.

If this game would have been played in San fran or a dome, I never would have posted this.
But as soon as I saw the weather report, I knew green bay was done.

Rodgers is a great player, he has great touch on his passes.. but 25 years of working outside in a job that requires fine motor skills taught me those skills are gone within minutes of exposure in single digit temps.
He can keep his hands warm on the sidelines and start drives well, but after a few minutes he was fucked- starting drives well but falling apart the longer he was out there.

Rodgers is only 6'2" with an average hand size... he has to grip the ball harder in the cold and that effects the release.

Lafleur put the game squarely on Rodgers shoulders, and he was absolutely unable to carry the load.
