Once again, in Florida nearly every body of water contains, or can contain, gators.

And of the 10+ million people from all over the world that pass through that resort every year, how many do you suppose don't know that?

None.... that is why a small child is eaten by an alligator on Disney property every 10 seconds.

I can think of a couple parents who didn't. That's about it.

Apparently these parents didn't get the memo that Gators are indigenous to the freshwater of Florida. Guess what they went home with 1 less kid, bunch of dumbass's

They didn't... It's alive. Illegal to kill them in Philippines so it was captured alive. Ate like 10 of their children. They all lived in river houses surrounded by water.
Third world nightmare. Went on for years. They think there is a bigger one too.

On my phone but go you tube.

Too bad Lolong died in captivity because his pool was too small and shallow. His teeth and claws wore down scraping on the concrete, he stopped eating, and died from organ failure. His organs were crushed by his own weight.

Alligators dont go for bigger prey, so they are unlucky to go after a human. They dont want to fight. They want to eat. So, you got to invade their territory or really **** with them. But, I do have a friend whose dad got half his face bitten off by one. He was trying to catch him and he leaned over the boat and the gator got him. They will kill you, but you have to be an asshole or be around a hungry gator. Thats why they move around so much because they are always looking for food.

All you need to comprehend is that the "NO SWIMMING" sign is there for a reason. Anybody that decides to gamble their safety because they need a specific reason is a dumbass.

Or they are 2.... and their parents are not exercising caution.

So whats the story then for why the father wasn't with the kid? Was he talking to another dadbuddy? Was he taking selfies with Mickey Mouse? Inquiring minds would like to know.

http://www.usatoday.com/story/news/2016/06/14/reports-alligator-drags-child-into-water-fla/85905266/

Body of the kid was found intact so looks like a case where the alligator made a mistake and confused the poor kid with food.

Of course, an alligator's brain is pretty small compared to a human's so the bigger mistake here was the parents allowing their kid anywhere near the water.

I can't imagine what they are going thru but given their apparent lack of supervision, the odds were against their kids to begin with to survive to adulthood it seems. Hopefully this tragedy helps them do a better job next time.

The weirder thing for me is how do you get close enough to sustain injuries to your hand but yet come up empty? Obviously heat of the moment and you never know how people will react but I have to imagine if that were my kid and I got to that alligator, I'm going done with the ship.

There is no way he is dragging my kid underwater without me going under as well because I would be holding on to that mofo for dear life. Almost seems like the father approached this gator a bit too cautiously as if the gator just had his barbecue in his mouth rather than his child. Then again maybe being too harsh.

My favorite part is that the article described it as "minor injuries" to the father's hand. Makes me think he got a scratch or broke a nail and let his kid get taken.
