After the Bryce Young debacle, I really don't see anybody giving away the farm for Caleb.
It doesn't work that way. They are two different players. Using that logic, nobody would have traded up for Trey Lance because so and so didn't work out.

Or rather, nobody would have traded up for Young.

Teams are always going to overpay for a QB in the draft. Or even in the trade market(Denver, Cleveland or the Bears with Cutler/mirer)

Wasn't it Orlovsky who had Fields pegged as an MVP candidate before the season began?

Also the same Orlovsky who trashed & burned Fields before being drafted for being a lazy last in / first out of the locker room with epilepsy concerns? Only to later recant & apologize for "having an inaccurate source"

Whatever, the dolt likely contributed to Fields draft slide that year. Poles: get him on the take again for whoever you end up wanting to draft! 😅

FWIW, there seems to be a good amount of shit talking on the social medias about Caleb, much of which has been unfounded from what I casually read, but honestly avoid X-Twatterland, Insta-💩, etc. Sad that so much shit is spewed and believed from non-sources (societal issue besides the point). I'll reserve any QB prospect judgement til combine & actual reviews come out.

I think Caleb is like Field's, in that they are both great athletics, but hold the ball too long. Maybe waiting for the perfect play to develop, or wanting to go deep all the time? I think they are both slow at processing and making good decisions. Then when the play breaks down, they get sacked, or escape and make an incredible play. I agree with Dan, 90% on his take. Justin had all day, at OSU, to make a throw. There is not that much time in the NFL, even with a good offensive line.
Caleb is not slow at processing whatsoever. He routinely makes whole-field reads. He also has outstanding pocket presence.

His issue is he sometimes gets greedy and passes up the small stuff to look for the bigger play. It isn’t because he doesn’t see the easier and shorter stuff. He needs to get better at hitting the right balance once he goes pro.

I knew Caleb fans would be big mad at this LOL.

Honestly, what it does expose is how many of these idiots who are mad at orlovsky in this thread who have used his shit to justify their own takes for other things at other times.

Y'all are just a bunch of pussy hypocrites making emotional arguments on an internet forum. 🤣🤣🤣

You can all try to say the same about me but at least I know my shit doesn't matter. I just like talking football.

And pissing off the meatballs on occasion...:smug2:

Ask your babe if she thinks an extra 3" would make a difference.

He's obviously never watched him play or just doesn't understand what he sees.

Dan Orlovsky is definitely a credible source when it comes to knowing how to play and who can play the QB position at the NFL level.
