Local Buford guy with a big drop there @bearsfan1977
And he’s given up 3 sacks in 3 years as a starter…That game is literally the one sack he has given up all year and to a likely top 15 pick. 1 sack, 2 hits and 9 total pressures all year.
I think the point is that after 1,000 posts, its time to give the whole SEC discussion a fuckin' rest. That was relevant to your post. Texas needs to play the more aggressive attacking offensive football that the Big 12 is known for rather than the more conservative defense oriented play the SEC is known for. But yes I could have made that point without the obvious dig at the SEC.
He’s the king of goalpost moving, FYIIf there is one thing I hate, its people who apply judgement criteria inconsistently. Its the proverbial "moving the goalposts".
I don't think UT's offense will be the issue if they can't make OSU one-dimensional on offense.
If they trade down and draft him and move him to OG, which is where most scouts think he is at his best, sure. But Texas has played a lot of bad competition this year so I'm not too impressed with that line. That game is literally the one sack he has given up all year and to a likely top 15 pick. 1 sack, 2 hits and 9 total pressures all year.
But isnt that a red flag that when he went up against an elite prospect, he didn't do well? He also projects as an OG by many scouts. His draft comparison is Peter Skoronski. They dont need an OG at #10. Sign Stanley in FA and get the DL impact player. Or trade down. And he’s given up 3 sacks in 3 years as a starter…
However, he found the rep when Banks was beaten by another NFL first round pick.

And Campbell would be the better player at G between the two, imo.But isnt that a red flag that when he went up against an elite prospect, he didn't do well? He also projects as an OG by many scouts. Honestly its kind of pointless with mocks right now because FA/trades haven't happened yet and we don't even know the offensive or defensive schemes by the new coaching staff. Jalon Walker would be great to have, same with James Pearce, but they are scheme specific DE's/Rush OLB's(potentially). And Campbell would be the better player at G between the two, imo.
Unless he's the next Zack Martin, hard pass on an OG @ #10. OT/DE/DT all are bigger needs(at the moment). If they decide to go OG, then trade down.Need both
Nah, trying to hit the 10k mark.I think the point is that after 1,000 posts, its time to give the whole SEC discussion a fuckin' rest.
I know Campbell supposedly has T-Rex arms but if his arms are in the 34 inch neighborhood then I think Banks sticks at T.If they trade down and draft him and move him to OG, which is where most scouts think he is at his best, sure.
