When you watch Ole Miss play, they have a ridiculous amount of injuries that don’t result in the player missing many snaps. Especially when the opposing team tries to go no huddle and play with a faster tempo. I’m glad they the SEC is finally looking into this @knoxville7
Now come on boys. Surely you don’t think Ol’ Lane Kiffin would do something shady.

I certainly hope that Illinois does pummel Purdue because I always worry about Illinois finding a way to blow a game against a lesser opponent. I think Purdue is too bad for that to be a concern.

I also would not be surprised if USC beats Penn State, but I will say that I am always somewhat down on Penn State compared to wherever they are ranked. I always think they are not as good as the voters think they are. And frankly, Penn State never seems to beat comparably talented teams. They only beat up on the weaker Big Ten opponents. I think little of James Franklin as a head coach while he somehow is considered a top coach.

tOSU vs Oregon should be good. I can’t remember major-league baseball ever moving a playoff game before to avoid a television conflict with college football, but that’s what they did in moving Cleveland versus Detroit to the afternoon.

Well, I might have cracked a joke about Lane Kiffin, I wish he would beat LSU tonight. Any Brian Kelly loss is a good loss.

And somehow the red river rivalry has flown under the radar this week. I’ve not heard a word until I read this post that Texas played Oklahoma today.

Hypothetical question - Alabama is now struggling with South Carolina. If they lose, out of Top 25?

Nah, but I think the days of bama being what they’ve been the last 15 years is over

That is probably that case all around college. The transfer portal is a big reason I believe. I think college football dynasties ready to be over.

Stanford wins a lot of NCAA championships in sports, but football is not going to ever be one of them.

I hate being a fan of Illinois football.

They are playing the worst team in the Big Ten and finding a way to **** up what could otherwise be a good season.

As hard as they have to work to beat a decent team, they always give it away by losing to a team worse than them.

I want this coaching staff jettisoned into the sun and it’s the best one they’ve had in the last six

Denzel Burke is simply not that good. I don’t get how he was a preseason all-American.

Yep. And while it may feel like a loss, it certainly is a world of difference when it comes to the record. Thank heavens they stop at two point try in overtime.

Huge difference in being 5-1 with that win instead of 4-2, which it looked like they would be. But damn they better figure out how to cover somebody and how to tackle. Fast.

Oregon with some really poor play calling at the goal line there.

tOSU outdoes them by letting critical time run off and runs out of time.

Altmyer is a stud. He’s a better version of Bagent. He might sneak into the 4th round

Howard with one of the stupidest plays this season. Ohio State should have done a quick dive to get 3 yards to try a long field goal. It was either a long field goal or Hail Mary. Lanning & Day might have a lot of NIL money to play with but they are both not elite coaches, not by a long shot.

He has certainly played very well. And his running ability was a big factor today also. That throw in overtime was perfect.
