FWIW, I only took Michigan to complete the opposite trend lol
I somehow didn’t know Tech didn’t have their starting QB. But Tennessee has their formula, setup the pass with the run and RPO’s and then throw deep. The defense is definitely legit, yall can beat UGA in a slugfest.

We're not buyin' it! You picked against the Illini. Shame!

Would love to see them win in Eugene next week but that’s doubtful

Doubtful is being kind.

After Oregon, they have 4 games in which they should be favored, and I still fear them blowing 2 of those. They're missing their #1RB for the season, and their lines are not stout. But the passing game can be very good.

Minnesota and Mich State at home - not great but not pushovers. MSU is currently beating Iowa by 11 with 8 minutes to go.

@Rutgers and @NU. Neither are good, but both on the road.

We shall see. They are winning the games they should win, which has not always gone well for them. If they win them all they're 10-2 That seems too much to ask. But 3-1 instead of 2-2 would also be very nice.

I would just like a respectable showing in Eugene, but it could be a blowout.

MSU with a 5 point lead w 5 minutes left and their WRs insist on getting out of bounds even when catching passes well away from the sideline.

Coached get so afraid they could stop the clock and leave too much time (when the opponent already has enough!) that they refuse to try and keep the ball.

UCF with 2 minutes to play ran on 3rd and 8 and punted back to Iowa State (and punted into the end zone, to make it worse).

Almost two minutes to play with, Iowa State scores in 90 seconds and UCF loses.

UCF could have played with the attitude "You need to stop US to get the ball back", but they played "We're going to go ahead and stop ourselves, and put ourselves in the position of then having to stop YOU."

Just flat out stupid.

It also means an Iowa State team ranked #9 goes to 7-0 with not one truly good win on their resume.

Well, that was an ass-whoopin. Shame because I have been looking forward to that game (TX vs GA) for two years now.

Texas just totally shit the bed in the first half.

Illinois with a good win, but much of that was Michigan's QB is awful.

Thought Alabama Tennessee was interesting but not great football.

Texas A&M and LSU have both looked better than Alabama. Ole Miss has predictably choked. Interesting pecking order in the SEC now. Loser of Missouri/Bama will be eliminated from the playoff next week. I don’t see UGA/Tennessee being a high scoring game, Tennessee’s defense is legit & Beck is a turnover prone QB now bb

Some good games next week

Mizzou @ Alabama
*want to believe Alabama bounces back
Penn State @ Wisconsin
*Wisconsin is now quietly 5-2, might be ranked
Illinois @ Oregon
*likely rout here, sorry @TL1961
LSU @ Texas A&M
*TAMU has put together a nice season since week 1, ditto LSU
ND @ Navy
*I like Navy here
Washington to get waxed at Indiana @iueyedoc
KSU beats their little brother in football @DaaBears

I’m pretty sure ESPN goes with LSU/TAMU for game day but wouldn’t be surprised if they travel to the meadowlands for Navy/ND since they have already been to College Station this year.

Yeah, I missed the last 10 minutes.
It was still sloppy but once Tennessee got their run game going, Bama had all sorts of discipline issues with penalties & defensive assignments. Alabama could have converted a long 4th & 22 but their star freshman WR decided not to block on a screen pass lol.
