OK Boomer
What a dumb, yet predictable, response.

There’s not a single good reason one can give to continue that tradition except to say “it’s a tradition” or “we’ve always done it. “

Why in the hell are we waiting 20 minutes to finish the final second of a football game because fucktards run on the field before the game is over?

We’re going to wait until someone’s hurt and then do something about it?

Illinois fans run on the field when they beat bad teams because they win so little. Missouri fans once tore down the goalposts when they beat. 5-6 Kansas team simply because they were rivals.

It’s one thing when your team wins a championship, but the idea that the fanbase needs to rush the field after every win is a little bit on the ridiculous side.

That’s got nothing to do with anything like that. The simple case is it’s only done because it’s been done. There’s not a single reason one can give to continue that tradition except to say “it’s a tradition” or “we’ve always done it. “

Though I have to admit, if I were 20 and in-school, attending a home game that we were about to lose, and had consumed enough alcohol, I'd totally have rushed the field to prolong the game stopping my team from losing 🤣

Shedeur Sanders put both hands on an official and shoved him today, but he couldn’t be penalized because that would have been racist or “hating” somehow according to Deion.

I hope so.

Are they not eligible/alive for the Big 12 title?

3-way tie now. 4 way if Iowa state wins tonight

Yes they still are but Army probably in driver's seat if they beat ND and Tulane. That probably puts them ahead of Big 12 winner for 5th auto bid.

I'm not going to defend putting your hands on official, but Sanders is not known for being a hothead. I can't believe there aren't circumstances which led to that.

Edit: Okay there's more to this story, the dude knee'd him in the back of the head when he was down. Was it deliberate or accidental? You would have to be on the field to know the tone of the game. Again, I'm not saying you should put your hands on an official, but that official needs to do his job as well.

C'mon bro, that play happened after this shit wasn't called earlier?

I am not saying he's a hothead and it makes no difference.

I am also not saying an opponent didn't piss him off (I didn't see it) but it makes no difference.

You don't get to shove an official and claim he's "not doing his job"!

Colorado has a victim mentality, let's not pretend otherwise. Deion is pulling the old coach trick of "the whole world's against us". Tony LaRussa was famous for it. Colorado players primp and preen and trash talk. But they don't like you doing it.

But c'mon man; that hit on his knee could have been career ending. Being pissed that it wasn't called is not playing the victim, it's feeling injustice that it wasn't called. I get that you don't like Sanders or his son (for similar reasons I suspect that I detest Baker Mayfield). But if that was me, and that first hit wasn't called, I'd wonder about the very system that allowed a potentially career-ending hit to not be called in the first place.

ASU needs to win out because I can give two fucks about anything else. I never take UofA for granted at all.

My old man called the last two wins for Kansas though over BYU and Colorado.
But who are they likely playing?

Refs don’t see everything and the fact that they didn’t throw the flag doesn’t mean they encourage or condone a late hit.

But I don’t understand how you are justifying a player shoving a referee because he’s mad about another player. So refs are just fair game if you don’t like the way, the game is being called?

The QB has a dedicated official to watch him. And if the system is fucking me over repeatedly and playing favorites, then yes, I lose respect for the system.

Holy crap!

OU up 21 on Bama right now.

Their win probability probably just topped 30%.
