Waymond Jordan, the top JUCO running back in the 2025 class per the On3 JUCO Industry Rankings, is reportedly visiting North Carolina this weekend. On3's Pete Nakos received the news from Jordan's agents.

Since accepting the North Carolina job, Belichick has already made an impact on recruiting and the transfer portal. Linebacker Amare Campbell was persuaded to withdraw his name from the portal after a season with 72 total tackles and six and a half sacks.

Belichick also convinced four-star quarterback Bryce Baker to sign with North Carolina. Baker had considered flipping to Penn State but changed his mind on Saturday.

Bellichek putting in work already.

Why would any decent quarterback consider going to Penn State?

@knoxville7 why do I think it’s easy money to take Indiana on the cover???
I dunno, they might…but I laid the points with ND like a week ago lol

Also, have you heard the antics Tennessee fans have been up to against Ohio State?

So far, Tennessee fans have wormed their way into the OSU pre ticket sales to the point the OSU AD came out with a press release about it

They have started remotely blasting Rocky Top on touch tunes in a lot of the bars on OSU campus

They’ve updated the Horseshoes stadium nicknames to include “Neyland North.”

And this was all by Tuesday 😂

In the macro, I would like to see the Big Ten do well. In the micro, I would love to see Penn State and Ohio State fall on their faces. But I wouldn’t be betting that Penn State does since they were inexplicably given the easiest path in the history of the playoff.

@remydat

I suspect he will insist a team draft him only if they are willing to have him play both. I would also think a heavy man scheme on D and giving him just one position at WR to learn instead of all would make that more possible as less to learn.

Have you seen his GPA?!

He can learn all the positions just fine

Why do you think he’s not smart enough to handle it?!?

The NFL will be a different story for Hunter. In Boulder, coaches knew that, because of the heightened load of playing on both offense and defense on Saturdays, Hunter needed a lightened load in practice during the week. It was also impossible for Hunter to attend both offensive and defensive meetings (as well as broken-down meetings with individual position groups) simultaneously, so he had to budget his time between meetings.

Once he’s in the NFL, that won’t fly. The jump from college to professional football often presents a giant learning curve for rookies. Hunter will most likely have his plate full getting up to speed in practices and meetings for one position, let alone both.

Did you read the above from the article @bamainatlanta sent? It is suggesting NFL teams would try to limit him to one position and that he cant practice on both sides or be in both offensive and defensive team meetings.

So the point is if that is the concern then instead of trying to limit him to one position just limit how much he has to digest. So has nothing to do with how smart I think he is. Was just responding to what the article claims is the concern from NFL people.

I have no doubt he can learn all the positions. The issue is he may not have sufficient practice and meeting time to be able to get proficient in all those positions simultaneously. So probably one where you slowly build him up. Once he masters a WR position to where he doesnt need to practice or meet on a ton then you can give him more.

Snow in south bend,, this favors a quick passing game and short routes. It’s harder to react in snow when you’re a DB. Reminds of the snow game in 2010 at Soldier Field vs Patriots. Brady came out throwing nothing but short passes and tore up the Bears defense as they kept expecting run.

I think ND continues their long standing tradition of getting embarrassed in big games and IU handles them with ease.

If Tennessee can get Sampson going and hit a deep shot with Nico, they should walk out with a W

which team has the better quick passing game...IU or ND?

the key to UT/OSU in my opinion is UT's defensive front VS OSU's offensive line

I’m just not familiar with UT’s interior DL. Are they dominant like Michigan’s?

they are

omari thomas
omar norman - lott
bryson eason
dominic bailey
daevin hobbs
jaxson moi
elijah simmons
tyre west

all are interior DL guys that have played a lot of snaps. they are deep and rotate a ton. they dont have a top 10 draft guy like michigan does, but they have a lot more quality on it

thomas, lott, eason, and simmons are all likely to be drafted

the other guys have a shot at being drafted or are coming back next year

I’m familiar with Eason, he’s been great this year.
In regards to IU/ND, I think USC exposed their pass defense. A lot of short quick throws, but it did help a lot that their QB is mobile. IU’s QB isn’t but I think this game goes down to the wire.

Everybody in this ND/IU game needs to take a deep breath and relax.
