I’m pretty sure that Bama/Ole Miss/USC would all have been better options than IU, SMU and Clemson. Tennessee should have put up a better fight than this debacle.
Bama and Ol’ Miss claim to be better by pointing at part of their resume and ignoring their missteps.

They played and blew it. Nobody else to blame.

One bad loss is one thing. But two? No reason whatsoever that Bama should be in.

In pro sports every year you can point to one team that missed the playoffs being better (in the opinion of someone) than a team that got in.

Tough luck. The requirements are known. Accomplish what you need to or stifle it.

100%.

Bama played themselves out of it.

I wouldn't include them in the argument with Ole Miss or even a South Carolina.

I don’t knock the committee for excluding those teams that choked against lesser talent; ole Miss should have never lost to a very bad Kentucky team. Just sucks that these opening round games have been awful.

My favorite teams
  1. Syracuse Orange
Alright. Tennessee got back on the same lap. Feels a lot like the Clemson game, tho.

Just saw a video of the Tennessee team doing pre games shirtless in the cold. I think every warm weather team I have seen do that have gotten their fucking asses beat. What is the point of that stupid shit?

They don't have to be good. Just better than Tennessee, which imo isn't saying much.
Precisely my point. This 12 team playoff is a bunch of mediocre teams.

It’s a good thing for Detroit they didn’t judge Hutchinson based on 1 terrible playoff game.
