He has a lot of development needed. I don’t get how he’s projected to be a potential 1st round pick in a couple of years. Very inconsistent at this point in his young career.

Mensah missed the Tulane bowl game as he transferred to Duke. Reportedly he will make $8 million over 2 seasons at Duke, and at least for now be the highest paid college football player. Crazy as he has definitely shown moments, but is he even a sure thing NFL QB down the road?

I think the invasion of Tennessee fans had an adverse effect on the game for UT. OSU was already pissed about the flag debacle/embarrassment and the site of so many UT fans to go along with the fair weather OSU fans selling out, the team came ready to bring their A game. They just wanted it more and it caught UT off guard and they didn’t get back up. The game really ended after the 1st possession of the 3rd quarter, when OSU forced an easy 3 & out. Score there and doubt starts to creep into the OSU players & fans. Heupel needs to spend all offseason developing Nico who needs some growth to start carrying the team when the running game goes down. Maybe a new positional coach or OC? The offense has been inconsistent ever since Hooker broke his leg.

The game really ended before it started as Tennessee and its fans seemed deluded into thinking being loud and obnoxious would propel them to victory.
They were far too cocky for a team making its first college playoff appearance and who hadn't won a national or SEC title in over 25 years.

Question for those who watch a ton of college ball: who are the big/best punt returners this year? Most of the scouting/prospect sites I use don’t track return men but it’s one of many Bears needs this year.
