ASU talking smack @Aquineas
Skattebo is a load. He definitely punishes defenses. Solid and just quick enough to get a head of steam going. Texas is going to have their hands full. I sure hope Texas is deep enough on the defensive line... And Ewers is a good QB, but he's not a great QB.

Can’t understate how big losing Saban was. They haven’t looked like they usually do and time will tell if the new HC can keep that program elite.

i agree, sort of...

saban retired partly due to he saw what was coming in this new era of college football. im not going as far as to say he was scared or anything, but he definitely looked at the landscape of football and decided at his age it was best to just hang it up

He’s smart. He has nothing more to prove in the coaching realm. He can do the cushy broadcasting gig, play golf, and go home to his mansion in FL.

Bama came out flat, like a team still butthurt about not making the tourney.

That and Milroe is cheeks. Michigan defense was really well coached and played tough.

This Illinois/USC game is lit
I thought it was bad that the broadcast didn't show what was going on with USC's substitutions. The one time they gave the aerial view in a goal line situation, Beamer is sending on 5 guys and then 2 of them got halfway to the huddle and ran back to the sideline. Its like Illinois had to figure out who was actually entering the game before making their subs, but at least the refs didn't let Beamer get away with his BS.

Even more people said that South Carolina should have been the next SEC team to get in and they just lost to Illinois.

Mich>Bama
Ill>S Carolina
tOSU>Tenn

If only the Hawkeyes hadn’t choked away a double digit lead against Mizzou.

I heard on the radio broadcast that Bielema was making defensive substitutions and taking their time doing so which they have a right to do, which forced South Carolina to take a time out at the one. They said he learned well under Bill Belichick.

That fuckin’ Shane Beamer was jawing at the refs in the final seconds just because he didn’t like the outcome.

Let's not forget that Oklahoma lost to the powerhouse program of Navy. There's no more annoying fans in all of sports than SEC fanboys.
