Absolutely unexplainable how Penn State, with zero wins against good teams, got the ridiculously easy draw that they did.
Its all according to the script right, oh wait, is that just in the NFL.

For all his accomplishments and all the talk of his stats, I did not have an opportunity to see Jeanty all year before tonight.

I still feel that way.

I haven't claimed games are scripted, but there is no way you'll convince me there's objectivity in college football postseason. (or rankings)

Penn State went toe to toe with Oregon and Ohio State. Give me a better team that deserved to be in Penn States spot..

If you say Alabama you lose all credibility.

As a guy who has watched every Warren snap, he will not be able to separate in the NFL. Still he knows how to use that big body to box out the defender.
That’s an overrated attribute; plenty of players have succeeded without being the best at separation

The best TE that I can think of who couldn't separate is Gronk. The current TEs that can separate are Kelce, Kittle, Bowers, Pitts. In the current NFL landscape a TE can be a game changer if they can separate..

Otton is the new guy getting plenty of separation.

I have no problem with BSU being in the playoff. I do have a problem with them being the 3 seed. They have to rethink the seeding process. ASU/BSU should not be in the top 4.

Not unexplainable at all. They were ranked 6th and had to face the No 3 team that had a bye which was Boise State. So not sure the issue. BSU should definitely have been ranked ahead of ASU and Clemson and I dont see any team ranked behind Penn State that should have been ranked ahead of them.

They deserved to be in the CFP, no doubt.

But why they got a much, much easier draw than #1 overall Oregon makes no sense. Much easier than the tOSU team that is clearly better. Their seeding/draw was ridiculous.

No different than NFL where a 13-4 Lions or Vikings team will be the 5th seed and have to play on the road against a 9 or 10 win Falcons or Bucs team because Falcons/Bucs won a weak division.

The difference is, in the NFL, the best division one year isn't best every year.

Pretending the Mountain West or whatever the **** Boise is in is equivalent to winning the SEC or Big ten is ridiculous.

The NCAA Men's bball tourney gives auto bids, but they don't give auto seeds. Imagine a Sun Belt conference winner being a 2 seed simply because they won their conference.

Or when they match the 2 strongest mid major teams in the 8 vs 9 slot with the winner playing the best team in the country. Happens almost every year lol.

But it isnt equivalent to winning the Big Ten or SEC because the Big 10 and SEC champs had higher rankings. However BSU which only lost to undefeated Oregon by 1 point had a better resume than ASU and Clemson.

BSU's big issue tonight was PSU isnt a good match up for them as they along with OSU have top 10 run defenses. The reason why they only lost to Oregon by 1 point is that Oregon isnt as stout against the run and Jeanty had 192 yards. Nor is GA, ND, ASU, and Texas when compared to PSU and OSU.

So this is more a case of BSU getting one of the 2 teams likely able to stop their greatest strength and even then they were in this game if not for a shitty kicker and penalties when they were in PSU territory.

So Skattebo should have a good day against Texas? I'm looking forward to that one.
