Well, there was 5 teams in the BIG10 that didn’t make a bowl game I believe

SEC only had 3 miss bowl games

I could of said the eye test, but I know you wouldn’t find that to be good enough
Ok, the very bottom of the conferences goes to the SEC. Other than that, I don't see it.

I'll listen, what did you see in the 'eye test' that tells you SEC is better?

The whole announcing crew from that game needs to be fired. Mark Jones, Roddy Jones, and ESPECIALLY rules analyst Bill LeMonnier . They had no idea what they were talking about the entire game. They concocted some story that Illinois was upset with South Carolina substituting twice after breaking the huddle, but that obviously wasn't the case as the refs allowed Illinois to sub in after the latest South Carolina subs. The only guy upset was the South Carolina coach, but he was the guy trying to sub in players with 15 seconds on the play clock every 3rd down. Then idiot Bill LeMonnier accused Illinois of "gamesmanship", yet had no comment when South Carolina made the T signal on a kickoff, pretended to walk off the field, then did a home run throwback. Illinois was upset because someone could have been blindsided thinking the play was over.

And WTF is a "substitution gesture"?
I have searched youtube for video of the actual play and all I can find is the bru hah on the field. Anyone have a link of the actual play?

I dont care about SC or their fans crying. I also have no problem with Bielema taking issue with the play for safety reasons.

What is hypocritical from Bielema is to have a player injured and in the process of being checked out by medical and using that moment to taunt Beamer for presumably putting his players at risk.

A coach that actually cares about the health of his players probably makes sure his currently injured player is ok. The fact Bielema thought that was an appropriate moment to taunt Beamer instead of ensuring his player is ok makes me believe his issue with the play was less about injury and more about being shown up.

That's ridiculous. He already had checked and his player was being tended to by trainers. That's ludicrous.

Agree, that's a weak argument. Bielema got Beamer to lose his shit and lose focus. He accomplished his goal. Bielema baited him and it worked. Beamer needs to be better than that, but that dude seems like he's always obnoxious.

His player was still on the field in pain. The appropriate thing to do is not make an ass of yourself while he is still be tended too.

He could have waited until his injured player was off the field.

What’s that??

All this talk of the SEC having a bad year and yet they have a winning bowl record and if Georgia beats ND, they’ll have 2 of the final 4 teams left

Imagine THAT being your down year for a conference lmao
You're touting the conference's record by already counting potential wins? Like those by Tennessee, Alabama and South Carolina?

The Big Ten has two of the final four and the only reason it isn't three is two were matched against each other in the worst bracketing ever done.

Least Oregon scored on 1st drive of 2nd half, will keep me watching a little longer.

Stop acting like his player was in a life or death situation and Bielema was a doctor. Teams have training staffs for a reason.

Man, Tennessee played OSU tougher than Oregon has. Therefore, Tennessee must be better than Oregon…remy logic
Counting tennessee's 2nd half points, while comparing to Oregon's first half to claim TN played closer. Knox logic.

Already covered this comment once before. I'm done, Capt Vortex.
He doesnt know if his player is ok until after medical is done with him which they werent. Pretty simple really.

Well unless he was having his players fake injuries again which is also a testament to his concern for player safety.

And I don't know whether my son's ok until his dr appt is over. But I don't need to stand between him and her doctor during the appointment
