Ding! Parade_Rain got Rose.
Next Question:
This franchise WAR leader is 16 points behind Williams for a single season. He is?
Surely this isn't DiMaggio. The same year (41) that Williams hit .406, JOe hit in 56 straight games. Think about that one. 56 straight games, hit .381 and didn't win the batting title! Although .406-.381 is only 15 points.

Plus the Yankees WAR leader is Babe Ruth. But you have the right thoughts. :)

btw, it's 25 point for JoeD

OK, Here's the hint. In 2013 This hall of famer was called out of management to be the interim hitting coach for his franchise. He held the position for less than two months before returning to office.

This WAR leader does not work at a grocery store regardless of how good he can do it. He might have some Irish in him though. This former ROY and MVP is?

The big unit Randy Johnson. Should be the Franchise WAR leader for the Diamondbacks.

Good guess. But not correct.
1) We've done the dbacks
2) The dbacks are not a historic franchise.

Define historic. Turn of the century or did something historic?

Guessing Pee Wee Reese. 66 WAR with Dodgers. Tops Koufax, Robinson and Drysdale.

There maybe be truth to this WAR leader being named for a writer of the Bible. There is no evidence that he had a relationship with Laura. We thank this HOFer for his year of military service as well. He is?

you are looking up post answer, right?

Ted Sizemore was my first thought. Was off after checking. Then PeeWee but figured he would come up short. Knew about Johnson so posted instead. After looked into PeeWee and he was ahead of some great players on the Dodgers.
