This former White Sox and MVP winner has no connection to Redford. He is a franchise leader. He is also credited with putting Upper Deck on the map. He is?

He has written over 30 books and owns three minor league teams. He is?

The only guy that comes to mind was the guy that used to own the 76ers in the NBA (maybe he still does?). He wrote a few books but I don't recall him being an owner of a baseball team or teams. I can't think of his name....I'm thinking Paul something. It's wrong anyway....

LOL

Are comic books now considered books at Illinois these days?
When someone gives me the "Avenge" clue, it's either Stan Lee or the Rickman's character from Galaxy Quest..."By Grabthar's hammer I shall avenge you!" :D

GMAB! I already posted up Plimpton and King. It can't be Clancy. Highly doubtful it's Jonathan Kellerman.

You forgot one...

But Khan was highly intelligent...he'd be too smart to own a minor league baseball team. You know what....my guess is Ricardo Montalbán.

Iron Man - Cal Ripken Jr it is. Parade_Rain, it was your chance to finally give him as the correct answer. ;)

OK, how about an easy one? I bet you can get it. He is?

I hadn't thought about Cal as an author of 30+ books.

How about Ted Williams for that easy one?

We got Ted Williams already. He was the manager that was 91 games under .500.

i BET you can get him with a second guess.
What is the question? "How about an easy one" doesn't seem like much of a clue to me.
