I just imagined how SP94´s reaction would be like if the Bulls really sign Smith in march!

Probably like this:

NBA Rumors Chicago Must Bring in J.R. Smith to Help Derrick Rose

Derrick Rose and the Chicago Bulls shocked the basketball world last year when they finished the regular season with the best record in the league, went to the Eastern Conference finals and Rose won the league MVP as the youngest player to ever accomplish the feat.

The Bulls have everything going for them, but the offensive burden on Rose’s shoulders proved to be too great in the Conference Finals against the Heat. At times, Rose just looked too tired and the rest of the team could not pick up the slack.

Many want to blame it on Rose being a shoot-first point guard, but that is simply what this team needed. The NBA point guard is also shifting overall to a more athletic, shooting guard type of player. Times they are a changin’.

Still, as good as Chicago’s starting lineup is, they desperately need to upgrade the shooting guard position. Ronnie Brewer-Hamilton is better fit as a role player than a starter. There is a pending free agent on the open market by the name of J.R. Smith, and he is the perfect fit for this team to guarantee a Championship this season and seasons to come.
Smith can start or come off the bench as a spark plug for this team. Regardless, they need his explosive offensive prowess to take the pressure off D-Rose.

Somehow, he drains some of the deepest three-pointers imaginable. He is not afraid to chuck it up at any given moment, which is not a good thing, but he can drain them nonetheless. A career 37.1 percent three-point shooter, he has shown the tendency to hit shots in the clutch, which Chicago needs.

Rose is the perfect point guard for a player of Smith’s caliber. As Rose slashes to the basket, he can kick it back out behind the arc for J.R. to rain three-pointers.

Smith, like the MVP, is not afraid to attack the basket. He has great leaping ability and will dunk on even the best rim defenders in the league. He can play the small forward or shooting guard position and would work in perfectly in a rotation with Luol Deng, Ronnie Brewer and Rip Hamilton.

A rather undisciplined player, Smith needs Chicago to turn his career around as much as Chicago needs him to win an NBA Title in 2012. This is one of the top pairings of this year’s free agency and the Bulls’ management needs to make it happen immediately in March.

Whose idea was it to have Andrea Bargnani and Kevin Love as a front-court? The defense would be horrible.

Richard Hamilton >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> J.R. Smith.

Ronnie Brewer > J.R. Smith for the Bulls.

That's True Rami...Hamilton is our Smith right now and he is working out wonderfully when his old bones arnt injured..But the clock continues to tick......Hamilton is only a short term solution as his playing career is winding down like the clock is ticking for the Celtics...

Hamilton now= JR Smith tommorow

Richard Hamilton would be the perfect mentor for JR Smith.....
God knows JR needs some mentoring.....could be a match made in heaven........a passing of the torch of sorts.

It will never happen. I thought we were just posting random lineups we'd like. Plus who cares about d anyways. Leave that to the second unit and Thib's genius. Barg, Gordon, Love, Deng and Rose would be unstoppaBULL on offense.

A healthy lineup of Deng,Boozer,Noah,SMITH and Rose would be much more deadly from both ends of the floor....much more balenced.

Eric Gordon will probably end up a Pacer or Net. I don't think the Bulls will be able to afford him.

They wouldnt be able to afford him unless they move one of the big contracts out. None of this is happening. The only possible thing is SPs lover JR Smith. God help us all,
