A healthy lineup of Deng,Boozer,Noah,SMITH and Rose would be much more deadly from both ends of the floor....much more balenced.

Defensively, you could make a case for Smith being better than Eric Gordon. Offensively, it's not even close. Gordon >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Smith on offense.

Let's bring in Zachary Randolph :smug2:
Whoever said Bogut......he's to injury prone. I would love to have Eric Gordon though

Gordon has been pretty injury prone too. He's missed over 60 [closer to 70] games in his career and he's only in his 4th year.

They wouldnt be able to afford him unless they move one of the big contracts out. None of this is happening. The only possible thing is SPs lover JR Smith. God help us all,

Lover??? LoL :rolling:

Actually potentially the offensive comparrison in the right Situation is close, but the better defensive capability isn't which equals out to Smith being a better fit for Thibbs schemes.....and better fit for our team........More balence the way our roster is set up.

defensively??? are you on crack?? Eric Gordon is an elite defender and plays defense at a greater than all star level. You are lucky if Smith even tries on defense. Smith is the least consistent player I know some nights he cares others he doesnt even try or worse trys too hard and shoots his team out of a game.

I just got off the phone with Eric...
He turned down the offer because he plans on signing with the Bulls.

Megatron should be kind of happy, its not Ben, but its a Gordon none the less...

either gordon is fine with me :smug:

so is Dwade Manu and Bynum if they are good enough you can live with missing games as long as they play in the playoffs.

You can make a case that a Rose-Smith-Deng-Boozer-Noah line-up would be more effective defensively than a Rose-Gordon-Deng-Boozer-Noah line-up. Smith is 3 inches taller and somewhat longer defensively than Eric Gordon. Gordon is built to guard the PG position more than SG's.

Would I take Smith over Gordon? No. Because that would be ridiculous.

okay...

I was just saying that to DepaulFan because he said he doesn't want Bogut because he gets injured to often, but he'd be all for getting Gordon. So I pointed out that Gordon also get injured often.

I get what your saying ;) it just seems like Boguts injuries are way more serious. Example: the elbow thing

yeah, that was just a freak injury. This foot fracture he now has could become a really big concern though.

That sucks for Bogut. It really seemed like he was turning it on. That elbow injury and now this ankle thing... you just have to feel bad for the guy. Most big men have lower body problems to begin with. Hopefully he'll be able to bounce back and get back to that same level.

Foot injuries are almost a death sentence to a big man. They robbed Big Z of years on his career, as well as the majority of his talent. They forced the pre-mature retirement of Yao. Hopefully Bogut has better luck, but he plays such a physical style, this could become a recurring problem for him. Same goes for Lopez.
