You can pitch underhand in MLB still... just that nobody does it... in fact, in the 1800s, you were ONLY allowed to pitch underhand... I don't think it ever got outlawed and she doesn't stop in her motion, so no balk.

eat my asshole grammar nazi.
she wouldn't win a Cy young because 1) She cant pitch under hand in the majors and 2) shes throwing 60 mph.
the only reason she was able to strike them our is because its not something they've ever faced before. If you gave them a week to get used to it they'd muck her pitches...

it may've been mentioned, but the softball mound is far closer to home than the baseball mound...so her pitching in the mlb wouldn't work.

I think the biggest thing is that in baseball there is a mound. In softball, it's just a circle. She'd have to throw downward toward the plate which is different for her.

I'm not going to lie, this message made you seem mentally Special person.
softball is pitched from like 45 feet away... baseball is 60. even if she was throwing 65 mph MLB players would eat that for breakfast.
I truly wish you had never posted such a an ill-minded and uneducated statement, it frustrated me to unbelievably. please never talk about baseball/ softball ever again, for the rest of your life. please.

Ps. your dumb

God thank you for pointing that out.

YOU'RE my hero.

She would get rocked in the majors. Because pitching styles are completely different. So I doubt she would be very effective. Facing the windmill pitching motion is a lot more difficult then over hand.

The swing mechanics are pretty different as well. But LOL at this turning into a discussion about how'd she do in the majors.
