So he showed up to mini-camp high? Or did they do the normal test which would detect weed in your system if you have used it any time in the last couple weeks? I don't even smoke weed but I sure don't give a **** if someone else does on their own time.

He was suspended for the first two games of last years season and still led the league in yards. Amazing talent, but sometimes its the little things that screw you over. I have no issues with marijuana, but he knows they have drug tests so he's gotta be smarter about it.

Damn, all these guys have to do is make that money as long as they can. When you retire, smoke until you are green. The amount of dedication it must take to be an NFL caliber player is insane, but some guys don't have the discipline to put down the sticky icky.

I will 2nd that. You know it's not allowed in the NFL. You know you will be drug tested and you know you have already failed 2 drug tests. Yet you smoke it anyway!?
He must be a dumbass. Marijuana is non-addictive right? (That's what all my pot smoking friends tell me.) So why would you smoke it knowing it will lead to a year long suspension and cost you millions of dollars?

all that means is hold the hope until 2015. Yesterday wasn't about tomorrow. It was about the day after tomorrow. So while this hurts, hopefully he gets his shit straight but they aren't quite ready. Year 2 and 3 of Manziel could be interesting, and then I think he gets one big contract and durability catches up with him in the course of that contract.
He will have to be really special to win in the short window he has due to body, but I can't wait to see him try and try. Mingo is also a fantastic draft pick.

Its ridiculous that a corporation would rather deprive fans of 1 year of watching an entertaining athlete than bend their own archaic nonsensical rules. Its none of their business if he smokes weed, its obviously not hurting his production. These kinds of things are just remnants of a backwards prohibition era that needs to be criticized and resisted.
