Can you type that out? I can't see the tweet that is so interesting.
"Despite public statement, UConn's Kevin Ollie has significant interest in OKC coaching job, sources tell Yahoo. He's a top choice for Presti"

What Scoot said.

got ya! would be an interesting match for sure. crazy to think Ollie just got the UConn job a few years back as a bit of a surprise hire and now he might end up being an NBA head coach of two elite players in the league already

Gotta think Ollie is the top option followed by Billy Donovan.

Also, OKC should've done this a year or two ago.

I don't think Thibs will be on the market by the time the Thunder find their replacement

Thibs for Durant. If GarPax can't get this done, they should both be fired.

Whoever OKC's GM is should get fired if they make that deal.

Only way OKC makes that deal is if Durant says he's walking once his contract is up.

I will keep saying the same thing over and over again ... The Bulls would be idiots to lose Thibs.

This firing only confirms the value of Thibs. He would have taken that OKC team (minus Durant) to the Finals. He's that good of a coach.

He would have taken the Durant-less OKC team to the Finals? In the Western Conference? I highly doubt that.

I believe so, bro.

Westbrook had a MVP type season and there were other under utilized pieces on that team. Scott Brooks was fired because he couldn't even get that team into the playoffs. They may not have been the most talented team in the West, but Thibs is legendary for getting under talented Bulls teams to overachieve.

I can only imagine what he would do with a pre-injury Derrick Rose (Westbrook).

He gets them to overachieve in the regular season. The playoffs so far have been a different story. See last year's team. Won 1 game against Washington. The 2012 team won 1 game after Rose went down.

So, no I don't think they've survive very far in the West either. They'd make the playoffs no doubt. Hard to say where they'd end up given seeds 2-6 were so close together this year.

I'm shocked that an NBA coach was really good with 3 star players, good with 2 star players, and mediocre with 1 star player. No coach that would do better in those situations is available.

I know nothing about basketball though.
