Not sure if that’s true. You can still get COVID with a vaccine, although you have a better chance of either not getting it or getting more serious symptoms. And also, I was wearing masks before it was even a thing and have followed every rule including the rules in place now. Getting a vaccine isn’t a rule btw, wearing a mask in many cases is, which I follow.

How CA manages its regulations has nothing to do with me. CA is an absolute clusterfuck that nobody should try to model.

A friend of mine is in the hospital with the delta variant. she was vaccinated early on, with the Moderna vaccine. She’s doing ok and will be discharged soon hopefully. She has some underlying health issues with cancer. She’s in remission, I’m not sure what meds so is on. She would most likely be dead had she not had her vaccine.

Yeah for me it’s not even the laws policies out here. It’s the brutal temperatures, god awful traffic and it’s not affordable out here. In my area, houses are $800k minimum.

As a kid I grew up in CA in 1950's and at that time it was a great place to live. Now I would never consider living there.

I think national politics is counterproductive, no matter who wins the Oval Office half the country will be unhappy and won't feel represented. I'd like to see us emphasize local politics again. There's no reason for 150million+ Americans to be unhappy every 4-8 years.
