I liked Bonds too. Both Bonds and Sammy Sosa were pretty good at murdering baseballs. I've resigned myself to the fact that the steroid era (or PEDs or whatever) happened and it was loads of fun to watch, so I don't really care. Everyone cheated and the baselines moved up. There are going to be guys who were already talented enough who would still blow those baselines out of the water.
Steroids definitely make the player stronger, but there's a certain level of skill you need to see the ball, square up, and hammer that ball. You give steroids to Koyie Hill and he'd just strike out more violently than usual :lol:
