I've got to say I agree with Bill Simmons on this one, sending the best players to the worst teams isn't really great for the game as a whole.

I don't THINK it will happen but maybe Clippers and OKC flip picks and Griffin goes #1 to OKC and Clippers at 3 get Thabeet and extra pick(s) from OKC.

what? How about the Spurs with Duncan? Sixers with AI, etc.

Well the Spurs weren't really the worst team, they just had an injury hit year, so they got Duncan and became a great team. That's basically what Bill Simmons has been arguing, that having good players go to teams that aren't completely crap for years is much better for the league.

At the cost of screwing over the teams that are merely average. A team like Charlotte that actually tried to win games ends up getting rewarded with a worse player than the teams that go into full tankfest mode. Is hope really a good tradeoff for people having to put up with their team deliberately playing a roster they know wont win?
