MVP is mine bitches now walk away.
But without him, the Brewers would still be good. I don't think that the Reds or the D-Backs would be anywhere close to where they are without Votto and Upton.
koyie hill
He is and I was going to list him, but the odds of him winning on a team that's not in the division race are slim IMO.
Exception not the standard.See: Andre Dawson 1987.
Wait... no mention of Yuniesky Betancourt?
He has it in the bag... this thread is really about the runner-up...
Oh.... well that has to be... beyond a shadow of a doubt... Brad Hawpe Statistics and History - Baseball-Reference.com
No, it has to be Tony Campana, because he's fast and hit a homer!
Good ? Yep. Playoff team? No. That why Braun matters moreBut without him, the Brewers would still be good. I don't think that the Reds or the D-Backs would be anywhere close to where they are without Votto and Upton.
Braun.
And I still cannot people would not trade Castro for Braun
Justin Upton is pretty good at baseball based on his raw numbers and accumulated WAR.
i think he's a top 10 player this year based on his overall production(defense still is a little questionable)
but i dont think he's outright the MVP
i guess you could make a decent case for it considering the diamond backs are doing pretty well this year
but i'd take braun or fielder before upton
Braun.

I still can't believe people don't understand there is more to a trade than just players.
Yeah, there's the upside, the club control and all that, but seriously, Ryan Braun > Starlin Castro.
I said in the trade value thread I would probably do the trade but Brauns contract is quite scary and long.
Contracts out the window yeah it's not close.
