Roquan hasn't broken out on the national level. This year I see him becoming a star for the reasons i mentioned.
I think he has broke out on a national level. Maybe not with some fans but coaches and talking heads have noticed. Players around the league have noticed. The guy is a slam dunk. Teams already game plan around him. I can only take it you mean break out with casual fans from other teams. Is that what you are meaning?

I mean break out as a nationally considered elite player, which he has not yet. LVE and Darius Leonard broke out nationally as rookies. I believe Roquan joins them in year two.

Leonard Floyd will be a 12+ sack guy this year. Mack will likely have 20+.

On offense its hard not to pick Montgomery. But I think Wims will have a 8+ TD year. He is as good as robinson inside the redzone. Outside his routes need work.

Bilal Nichols is an astute prediction. The guy has shown flashes of brilliance and more time getting playing reps and having an NFL level strength and conditioning regiment can only help. Our DLine and LB core is stacked!

Wow. Out of the 6 (?) plays Montgomery had which one made you feel like you do? I’m undecided still. I’m still not sure if Davis even played. If he did I was in the head.

It has nothing to do with preseason snaps actually. He has a motor that doesnt quit, refuses to go down on contact, has solid hands, great vision and anticipation. When he's out there with the ones I expect him to be that guy who teams dont prepare for. By the end of the year they'll be saying, "Keep an eye on 32."

His relentless effort after contact is a special thing. If he concentrates on making that specific trait his identity he can be a force in the league. I know its a rough style but its one that gets you yards and respect from defenses and eventually with time and training you become a guy nobody wants to make first contact with.

I think Wims will take a nice step up, but due to the sheer amount of talent we have among the WR corp, I'm not sure he will get enough opportunities to have a national type of breakout year. He could turn into a very valuable option for us, but not to the point where he is lighting up fantasy teams.

Hence I think on offense you have to go with David Montgomery, due to the amount of opportunities he will get. With all the talent and depth we have out wide, I think it will cause Montgomery to have a nice match up advantage, sort of like an Alvin Kamara out of the backfield with the Saints. I don't think it will take long for him to earn Mitch's trust and then be used as safety blanket when under pressure. I could very easily see Monty be top 10, even top 8 in the league in total yards per game. Fantasy guys will spread his name really quickly.

Also, Roquan Smith is number 2 for me. He had a full offseason to participate with the team and I he is going to be flying around the field. Could see him having one of the most tackles among the league.
