I love history (my major)...I do a large amount of research (preparing for my senior thesis) on WWII (European Front) mostly on resistance movements of European countries which were under Nazi control

My 2nd major is German, I do alot of German reading and studying (german grammar kills me)

I also like doing research on my family. My grandfather was born in Yugoslavia (largely agricultural area without hospitals) and my grandmother in Germany, but was then put up for adoption (no records)...obviously both circumstances left me with very little knowledge of my family's past, so I am dedicating a few years to develop some sort of family tree/history

I actually really enjoy school and being a student at the University of Arizona, this occupies most of my time

Xbox 360 ofcourse (add me: xSERBIAN 41x)

Have a summer job at my old high school (where i'm posting from now :smug: )

Politics: registered Democrat, but only so that I can vote in primaries in AZ...I am really a independent (maybe slightly left leaning)..love watching political shows

News: I spend 2-3 hours daily reading news from all around the world, i feel it is important to be knowledgeable about what is going on around you in the world

SERBIA: I also enjoy immersing myself in my culture (going to serbian festivals, attending serbian lectures, etc)...I am proudly Serbian and love researching, attending, talking about, etc anything that has to do with Serbia and the mostly negative image that the breakup of Yugoslavia (unfairly) gave Serbia and the Serbian people

That's pretty much my life. lol

That's awesome. My dad does WWII living history and battle reenactments. He's been doing it for about 25 years. He does about 10 reenactments throughout the year and does a few living history parades and events for the Patton Museum at Ft. Knox. He's got some awesome stuff. His specialties are the 101st Airborne and 4th Armor division.

Living in the U.S. Southwest isnt always the best place to study the European front of WWII, which is why i'm hoping to move to chicago for grad school, which I believe will give me better opportunities for research (outside of moving to europe of course)

Yeah, my dad always has some interesting literature. Have you ever been to any of the reenactments? There's a big one he goes to in Pennsylvania every January for a week. They've got a huge militaria sale and some good presentations and guest speakers.
