Nice shot by AJ... hard to get Paulie home on a single but a bloop hit works for me.

To be fair he isn't that great. He is basically a 4th OF with a great glove.

I love Super Sam Fuld but he isn't a guy you want manning LF on a competitive team.

I do wish the Cubs had given him a chance and kept him to play this year over Reed Johnson, that is of course unless he hits for the Sam Fuld on a regular basis.

basing that off of what? He was never given the chance. Same with your 50,000 sale of Casey McGehee.

you guys just like to apologize and not admit when a deal that the cubs make really isnt that good.

His minor league numbers aren't good. He doesn't have the bat for corner OF (sorry you can't have a corner OF'er that can't slug 400) ad probably not the defense for CF.

Believe me I do not like the trade never did. It was and always will be a stupid trade. Fuld is exciting but he is not this good. He is probably a 290/360/370 type guy that's maybe +15 defense on the corner.

I would however have liked to see him work in the front office. Very very smart guy.

Also McGehee was a below average hitter in the minors and we have Aramis. There was no reason to keep him on the 40 man. McGehee's happen to plenty of organizations.

Santos looks good. Hell, even the inept Hawk said Santos is a closer in the making.

Welp, finally... a win. I forgot what it feels like.

Great offense... Juan and Omar did great at the top of the order and the power hitters knocked them in.

Gavin Floyd pitched a solid game. He gave up a lot of hits and the 4th was sketchy but he came back strong in the 5th and the bullpen did great the last 3 innings. I would love to see the bullpen do that when the Sox are only up by 1 or 2 runs, but I'll take it as progress for today.

Go win. Now let's start a winning streak.
