Nagy's system likes speed guys around 4.4 or 4.3.

40 Times

Jarvis Landry 4.77
Allen Robinson 4.60
Adam Shaheen (Bears TE) 4.79

I think everyone knows who Shaheen is bud.

cam and tarik both run 4.4's.

This is also not expecting anything out of KW next year, which would be our speed WR if he wasnt made of glass

Calvin Ridley please.

I hate to say it but we may not see a major upgrade over Wright and Meredith out there in FA.

Everyone's looking for a #1. But like I said in the other thread, the key is having options. The Rams and Eagles won't have a 1000 yard WR on their teams this year. But the Rams have 2 WRs and a RB over 750 yards. They have a 3rd WR (Watkins) going to go over 600 on Sunday. The Eagles have 2 WRs and a TE over 750. Torrey Smith with 400+. Both going to be 4000 yard passing teams.

I think it would be better for Trubisky's development anyway to have to find the best matchups rather than knowing he can just throw it up to a stud WR 150 times per year like Cutler did with Marshall.

Cobb would be cut before Nelson.

Dunno on that one. Nelson is 32 and Cobb is 27. Contract wise they are close.

2018 cap hit for Nelson is 12,550,000 with a dead cap hit if cut of 2,300,000. Cobb's cap hit is 12,750,000 with a dead cap hit of 3,250,000.

So after this, Bears best options in FA are...

Jarvis Landry
Paul Richardson
Sammy Watkins
Allen Robinson

Other FA options basically ain't worth it, other than to re-sign own FAs (Meredith, Wright) and take some high upside prospects in Draft (Ridley, Sutton, etc.).

Cobb simply hasn't produced when AR is on the field. One of them is probably gone with the other getting a pay cut

Yeah, I'd imagine Cobb gone. Jordy takes a paycut. Though, they can afford 2 of the 3 pretty easily.

Adams was my #1 FA but he's the best on GB so this makes sense. The 2nd concussion this season did scare me a tad.

I can see Nelson being cut. He'd be a perfect fit with Brady in NE. No way can GB afford Nelson, Cobb, and Adams.

Because NE loves white WRs?

I think Cobb gets cut. Adams might be the number one now, but he struggles when it's just him and Cobb. Jordy still has value to that team and a good rapport with Arod.

If A.Robinson, S.Watkins and J.Landry all stay with their teams then it's gonna be tough for Pace to land that legit WR that doesn't have too many question marks which means it could push R.Pace to draft one in the 1st round which is always scary, and if he does that then we're gonna have to hope he can find a starting OLB in the 2nd round or in free agency and we already know how little of talent there will be in free agency this offseason.

Shaheen can run with Kelce if he loses some weight.

Nah can still go for the pass rusher in first. Never know depending on draft position maybe we trade down. There was allot of trading last year I think this is the year Pace tries to stack picks rather then trade up.

And I’m not concerned these top guys are getting signed up figures they would good teams keep good young talent. My concern is what is the asking price now for guys like Richardson, moncrief, hell even wright lol. You are looking at 10 mil a year for those guys!

We'll need to hope that a Marvin Jones type player becomes available and flies under the radar. That signing was not looked at as a big deal but it worked out great for Det. I think the best WRs will be re-signed by their teams.

Wow at those figures.

I could see a Cleveland Browns having to overpay like that to get him but so much for hometown discount. He is a good receiver but not 14 mil per year good.
